First of all, it's unrealistic to think that all kids can just go outside and play with their friends. Like my little sister for example, shes living in a not too good neighborhood in the ghetto, and she doesn't have many friends and many places to go. We aren't living in the 90's anymore. When i was little I lived in a neighborhood where kids did actually go out and play, and we didnt need the cartoon channel to tell us to do so.. If kids aren't outside playing these days its cause they cant...

@DAROMSninja: Same here, when I was young, I also played outside without having to be told by TV. And apparently, they just can't tell the viewers what to do for Worldwide Day of Play because there could be weather conditions outside that can make it very uncomortable to play outside.
