  • Another great video! Anything about food is always worth watching, lol ... but especially to find out how to make a recipe that will be awesome when camping.

    Thanks!

  • I thought real men don't eat quiche? lol

    Kidding aside, that was cool!

  • thats SWAG bro

  • knowing me i'd mess up and use gun oil.lol

  • it makes me drool lol i luv eggs and lil smokies :)

  • It's pronounced KEESH

  • I can't believe how often I watch this vid. Great work. You need to make more canteen cup cooking vids..Thanks

  • Did you eat it after filming?

  • @T4EVER1000 you bet

  • @beast12101 Come on MAN Real MEN don't eat quiche!! LOL

  • Where did you get your cup?

  • @GetAtMeFOO seattle surplus

  • More of an omelette than a quiche but nice vid anyhow.

Great idea, I will definitely be trying this with my canteen cup.

  • yeah just curious, did the egg and the sausage come from the MRE? you are a goddamn moron

  • Disgusting!

Egg-cake isnt smashfried like that !

At least add some onion, garlic or bayleaf

    - and turn it once or twice with a woodspoon during your "cooking" !

    DONE IN 3- 4 MINUTES MAXXXX !

  • Good video, I'm going to try that for breakfast soon. where did you get the lid for your canteen cup?

  • @TheSouthernsurvivor In a comment on another video he said it's a lid he made. Canteen shop sells stainless steel lids for canteen cups. Canteen shop has a youtube vid where he shows off the lid and a canteen cup stove they sell. I plan on getting both the lid and the stove at some point.

  • thanks for the recipe, something new I can share with the boys...

  • use a pen sideshow bob!

  • Do you recall what video you did you canteen cup mod with the rings/wire for hanging over the fire? Did you offset the holes to the handle side of the cup for balance? Thanks if you have the time to answer.

  • @meatloafzombie i never did vid for it, I dont use rings, cause the lid wont fit tight, the hole are just eyeballed, I tried to center the balance with the handle closed.

  • def a frittata. What kind of bowl is that you're using?

  • @glockfan86 guyot design squishy bowl

  • duuude i see you have the proper handle on your stove is there a place online where i could get one do you know?

  • @1234luke1234lukei got mine at a local surplus

  • ever heard of film editting

  • @dirtsquirt3 nope, do tell. what part needs editing?

  • DAVE

  • im hungrier than fuck now

  • great idea

  • AWESOME! im tryin this next time i hit the bush

  • Not to sound like a overly anal foodie or anything but I'd say that should be called a frittata rather than a quiche. A quiche would have a crust like a pie. Some might call it an omelet but for it to be a true omelet you need to fold the egg around the topping not cook it inside. What ever you call it I think it looked good enough to eat. A couple salsa packets would also make a nice addition.

  • i love some mash potato mini sausages gravy and dried veg lovley meal

  • Looks good, I'll see if we can get those sausages in Australia

  • Great vid. Instant grits an spam. And also try instant rice and tuna.

  • Thanks for this video. I'm a truck driver and cook in my cab/sleeper. Saves money and tends to be better food than what you find in the truck stops. Also as a reminder, of you are like me and dont or can't have an open fire, almost all the truck stops sell 12 volt cooking appliances. Everything from small ovens, road stove, slow cookers like 1.5 qt crock pot, coffee makers , heated mugs, small frying pan, hot cups that can boil water, and other things very useful.

  • Awesome video. If you were to add some plain old veg. oil to the olive oil it would still have the flavor, but it wouldn't burn so easily. I am off now to see what else you have on video. I feel inspired!

  • keep pressing 4:11 :D

  • dude write a survival cook book

  • why dont you put your eggs in a thermous or a tupperwear cup with a lid

  • God I really love doing this stuff :D

  • egg sausage log FTW!

  • Very clever! Love it!

  • did you eat it

  • instead of the ziploc bag to beat the eggs you could but one of those workout shaker bottles because it comes with a wire wisk ball to mix easier. anyways great vid

  • one simple comment. Dude, you rock!

  • looks good i like ur muffin vid

  • That's some clean video quality, great vid by the way

i use it for everything, ramen, soup and cooking chopped up venison.

  • got to try that... tks

  • it would be nice if u put some cheese in there too

  • the little smokies had cheese in them

  • oh then your perfect haha

  • @foxmoto17 your comment is so much better if you imagine "cheese" being said by jeremy clarkson from top gear. LOL CHEEEESE

  • Did you make that lid or doeas it come with the cup?

Looks like tasty grub when youve been hiking all day!

  • 3:27 "...hi" haha

great video man! so where to you find these trail/camp recipes?

  • i just make them up

  • This look wonderful!

    I want to do this!

Let see,.. I can use my silicone muffin cups and I would do some cheese too. Gosh I wish that hard cover company would make a big silicone muffin cup that was the same shape as the canteen cup.

I am going to go tell them right now!

    Fantastic vid man!

  • careful , I almost ruined a squishy using it a canteen cup, works better in a round pot.
