great video. i just had surgery on aug 24th. and i've lost 43 pounds, i'm already starting to feel better, i feel i can move around easier i fit in my car more comfortably. so i'm excited to see were im going to be in a year, i can only imagine how wonderful it's going to be. thanks for sharing this video, you give me hope. :)
I'm not sure that you would have to answer any comments (since u get so many) but I was wondering if you had any problems with your hair? did you loose any of it? I'm thinking about getting WLS and that is a big issue for me since I already have thinning hair... thanks!
I have always had thick hair and though I took Biotin for several months post op, I dont take it now. I do shed a lot of hair but still have a thick head of hair so I think it differs for everyone. Massage Goddess has some great videos on this since she has thin hair and has talked to a dermatologist who recommended Rogaine. The hair loss is fairly minimal and short term due to the trauma of surgery on the system. For me though, it was really negligable - not an issue at all.
Im down 86 pounds now and still going... I too am starting to slowly see these things your talking about... Im off ALL my meds. Feels wonderful to rid my body of these chemicals.
Im still a ways away from where I need to be, but it will slowly become my reality. Im more stubborn than it knows...hehehehe!
I am so glad to hear that - i know you really struggled with chronic pain and regular medication before surgery - I am so glad to hear you are feeling so much better! it only gets better from here :)
Don't go giving all the credit to luck, dear Jules!!!! I seem to recall you working your BUTT off...and especially at first when you REALLY didn't feel like it -- You deserve ALL the credit ;))))))))
We are still trying to figure out the wedding but I want to head to the Justice of teh Peace today! Who knows if there will be an actual wedding with flowers and white dress... no money and all my friends are online friends :)
