Dumbass, that bike should never touch high gear, when ever your in mud or water, or putting the bike under any kind of load, always put 'er in low. Thats the reason the belt was slipping and smoking.

@THizzle80 have you ever rode a can am? i owned a grizzly and a can am outlander and renegade, so im pretty sure i know which is toughest! i loved my grizzly but it was way underpowered and i had problems breaking axles! ive never broke an axle on my outty or gade! and ive raced them three years running at mud nats, and got third place in the indurance race last year! the indurance race is pruff that they are tuff!

@Ramon25d it's proubaly just as reliable and if not it's more reliable. You can't get stuck if u have villas. I once flipped on Widow Maker and it rolled down and I started it right back up. It's a mule, it takes a good beating. When I go log climbing I can actually run over fairly sized trees....no damage to 4 wheeler

Awesome vid!! but thats got to be somewhat bad for your bike even with the snorkel how do you keep your casing from cracking. That engine and crank case has got to be hot as hell and to submerge it with it running has got to be bad.

not true..a snorkel kit does not include exhaust. dont speak unless educated please. a snorkel kit for an automatic bike such as this snorkels the CVT intake and outlet and also the air intake=3 tubes. occasionally you see 4 tubes when people split off the air intake into 2 pipes. also a snorkel kit will bring your breather lines up to the pod. you dont have to snorkel an exhaust...

He has that special type of slipper clutch they just came out with just for riding in deep water. It helps you keep from blowing the tires out from under you.

There is no breather, just the CVT intake and exhaust. So either his snorks have a leak, or his CVT cover is leaking. I wonder if he routed the breathers for the gastank (2 of them), diffs, trans, and crankcase.

Theres the CVT intake/exhaust and the intake for the engine. The Renegade 800 is EFT btw. Also, the CVT exhaust does put out quite a bit of heat after a while of riding, so he would have some hot air blowing in his face, could be a good thing is he was riding in the cold, haha.
