  • rare interesting track-thank you Spotnick!

  • Excellent, thanks for posting this. Definately a fore runner for catch the sun. New order meets Doves.

Yet another good song, lost in all the other noise of the UK terrible top 40!!!

  • Thank you Spotnick I've never seen this before, and as much as other ppl will say "this-is-crap" (or whatever) I appreciate your effort to post these lil tidbits I may (have) NEVER (EVER) seen in the US....

*bows down* THANK YOU, THANK YOU...!!!

  • phhhh alguien que me diga cuando donde como paso eso en que disco viene donde lo consigo jajaja ya sospechaba de que beranrd fuera padirno de los Doves

  • Can someone please post a better version I love this song.

  • Just did.

  • Bernard Sumner is a nice vocalist, no? I like him in New Order but this music is very nice. Congratz!

  • They look like backup musicians for Bernie.

  • Thanks! This is a real DOVES treat!

  • Sounds Great from a Doves fan's point of view.

This song sounds very like the same chord progression as "catch the sun" in some parts of the song. In fact, they end in the exact same way. I really like it.

    Thanks for posting!!!!

  • Agree with you totally about catch the sun! This tune really got me back in, what, 97? Then when I heard Catch the sun i fell in love with that too-different enough to love both simultaneously, I think.

BTW, the other tracks on this cd are excellent too-one of them resurfaces on a doves album-sorry can't recall which off hand...

  • What a shame! Still glad to see this though...a real unknown gem for both Barney and the (soon to evolve into) Doves. A really cracking song this.

  • I have a head cleaner cassette if that helps.

I had a 4-head Hi-Fi deck at that time. Was still healthy after Y2K and 9 years service and I sold it.
