ya i know what you mean with dots and lines.

they never go away, i have it on my phone.

I think its how it recognizes your touch.

but, is your slider extremely wiggly? mine is and its really irritating. i had one that was wiggly and returned it, and my exchanged one is even worse!

Mine doesn't seem very wiggly, i mean there is some give but nothing that really bothers me. I'd say if you have it that bad keep trying to get a new one until you are happy.
