KaerFyzarc is right. You cant run the car on water directly. You can run the car on hydrogen but not from water directly. The hydrogen fuel would have to be pre-made and be available at a "gas station". Combustion basically combines the hydrogen and oxygen back together. So if a car were able to directly split hydrogen from oxygen, then it would need a power source to do so. What the car would is basically change its battery energy to hydrogen energy...so when you 'burn' the hydrogen fuel--

Thus if you had a perfect system you could convert H2O to H2 and O2 and back to H2O, but you CAN NOT TAKE ENERGY OUT. This is very possible. Research has also shown that by extracting hydrogen from water and using fuel cells to store the output of electrons, massive energy can be stored and even used. Basically, the car doesn't need a conventional battery, as well as can be a source of power for other applications, such as powering a house or small building. Oh, and by the way, the cars can be made to go extremely fast.

Everybody's talking about putting more money in their pocket and most people I KNOW are spending more on gas than on their CAR PAYMENTS! You can go on ebay and buy everything, like I did to my 2005 ML. The car has the power and I never pay for gas with a 15 mpg gas hog! It was hard to adjust in the beginning, once I got it set, I cut the gas off completely. I have saved 4,351 dollars since walking away from the pump!

it does work, I can't imagine any oil or utilities company wanting it to succeed. There is a welder that uses the same technology--browns gas. You can do a web search for it. So much for your accusations that the technology is flawed. He did mysteriously die from food poisoning at his favorite restaurant. You can also download the blueprints from various websites.

They should read up about (1) the second law of thermodynamics (might want to check out the rest too); (2) electrolysis of water; (3) efficiency of engines and generators. If they have done all of this and still think this works they should check that they know how to add and multiply, and how to use fractions. If they still think it works they are idiots.

KaerFyzarc is right. You cant run the car on water directly. You can run the car on hydrogen but not from water directly. The hydrogen fuel would have to be pre-made and be available at a "gas station". Combustion basically combines the hydrogen and oxygen back together. So if a car were able to directly split hydrogen from oxygen, then it would need a power source to do so. What the car would is basically change its battery energy to hydrogen energy...so when you 'burn' the hydrogen fuel--

No matter how efficient the electrolysis is, the energy required to break the oxygen-hydrogen bond is THE SAME as the energy you GAIN when oxygen and hydrogen combine (also known as burning). Thus if you had a perfect system you could convert H2O to H2 and O2 and back to H2O, but you CAN NOT TAKE ENERGY OUT. This is know as the LAW of conservation of energy (1st law of Thermodynamics, look it up.) So please, stop calling me an idiot and just go read your physchem

Go read up on that, and come back with an energy equation showing how much is used to break apart one Mol of H2O, and then how much is gained when it recombines. This is very possible. Research has also shown that by extracting hydrogen from water and using fuel cells to store the output of electrons, massive energy can be stored and even used. Basically, the car doesn't need a conventional battery, as well as can be a source of power for other applications, such as powering a house or small building. Oh, and by the way, the cars can be made to go extremely fast.

The reason water-powered cars did not take off is that they don't work. Read Wikipedia's page about "Hydrogen Vehicles." Hydrogen vehicles that don't use water work but they have many shortcomings to gasoline powered vehicles.

What do you get when you completely burn a hydrocarbon? You get CO2 and H2O... that is to say, carbon dioxide and water. Ergo, water has the least amount of chemical energy, hence why it won't combust further.
It is possible to generate hydrogen from water, but it takes more energy to produce the hydrogen than you get by burning it. First law of thermodynamics.

All of the people on the planet didn't think the Earth was flat- just the Vatican. They lied to the masses about that, the real ancient people were not that dumb. The Greeks, the Chinese, the Incas, Mayas, etc etc. Astrologers thousands of years ago knew the Earth was round like the moon. The mega church just lied to people to keep them from going too far. Columbus was not the first to discover America.

People, take a few courses in engineering (or even basic math). You'll learn that the energy needed to create Hydrogen fuel is more than the fuel itself can produce to power the vehicle. Just because the vehicle itself is "green" doesn't mean the energy (ELECTRICITY) required to make the fuel is green. You might as well just charge up batteries and run an "electric" car. Use your minds objectively - stop taking the first processes out of the equation and you'll learn what a farce this is.

look up Hydrogen Fuel cell and tell me if hes lying. He is telling the truth, but the hydrogen fuel cell was invented in the 1800. it is just because the use of oil and gas was alot cheaper. thats why it caught on and the fuel cell did not. Look up ( who killed the electric car? )

It's bullshit chemisrty doesn't lie it takes more energy to break down water than you will get from the resulting hydrogen. The Japanese can't change this no one can. To date no one has shown the actual chemistry behind a "water powered car" because chemistry doesn't lie unlike the "inventors".

Our cars don't run on water today because this is hogwash, it takes more energy to break down water into hydrogen and oxygen then you get from burning the hydrogen.

WRONG the water is actually broken down by a reacton with a special metal 'metal hydride' which has to be replaced and takes a lot of energy to produce, that is the fuel. Heard of thermodynamics?

Actually that's what plants do every day--split water into hydrogen and oxygen. Photosynthesis is the process. Others say electrolysis but the results are the same and the energy required is less than 12 volts.
