you know what....this music is simply the pinnacle of electronic/dance and for all of us that were there at the time...shit, it'll never be repeated. Best nights of my life....great to see so many tunes and mixes being put up on here and so many ravers sharing their memories....thx my friend for posting....
@spencewr3 35 seconds in is a sample from Landlord - I Like It, but it's all part of the same tune up which goes on until about 1:58. World Beating System Featuring The Criminal Mindz - Dance Of The Parasites (Last Word From The Landlord Mix) on World Beat Corporation...
i like the fact theres no fancy mixing, no gimmics, none of all this phasing and looping stuff that seems to be all the norm nowadays..........its just pure Hardcore! just the way it should be.
@spencewr3 couldn't agree more mate, its about mixing the tunes in a dynamic way to create atmosphere/vibe , not perfect mixing. Just love the hardcore ride up and down and all around -Hardcore is the future!
im desperately looking for an old tape i use to love but had pinched from my car, It was from the old eclipse in Coventery and it was Frankie Valentine, it was very trippy it had a tune on it called the dreamer ( a real rocker) any help would be really really appreciated Thanks Boyz
yo itz jase from b.ham! i was doin the eclipse in 92/93 buzzin off your head to a special atmosphere. big up all the old quest ahd fibre optic crew. --KEEP ON RAVIN--
i got this tape somewhere and yes i have a tape deck to listen to it on.....U KNOW IM NOT GONNA GET RID OF IT OR THE TAPES!!! listened to this sooooooo many times.......................i am rushin just thinkin bout it !!!!!!
i remember seen stu allen at bowlers (R.I.P bowlers) plenty of times! best times of my life! proper drugs and ravers! like they say, dont make them like they used too!
@quicklung Mate got it it's the Rave Devastation mix that is the nuts...... Thankyou so much for coming back to me you do know your s**t...... Take care.......
i am a 29 year old cov kid born and bred and always used to go to revive on a weekend to but the live eclipse tapes cz i was too young to get in the clubs.lol gutted that i missed out on that era and only by a couple of years too.still have a good few tapes lying around so i might post up a few tracks if anyone cares to have a listen.
If anybody knows of any reunion nights for anything played between 88 and 93 you gotta post it on here. Id give my wifes left arm to rekindle my youth just the once more.
those were the days ,will never ever be repeated dont be down ,your lucky you were part of it as very few people were, ravers of 90-93 what a fucking time!imagine getting a guys bird to massage you while tour shaking his hand happy days
I remember Sunday nights around 9pm hearing his show on the radio in the Ford Orion...You just wouldn't be able to play that sort of music today at that time of night....
Hmmmm cant seem to find record title??? Interesting!! All other tunes have been ID'd except the monster that starts on 1.57! All im saying is that is a serious tune that needs me to buy it and play it on a sound system the size of a building!! hahaha
If you chuck Cyclone 'Lord of the Land' into Google it will come up. However I think what I'm talking about came out much later - the album Fatboy Slim did which it featured on came out when he did that party at Brighton Beach & there was all the panic in the newspapers about over-crowding. You'll be able to get the tracklist for Eclipse from British websites like backto92 I think....
sat here wiv a mortgage, dull job , pension, worried about the c crunch , reliving a good part of me life, old mini, filas, art schooll, drugs and life, banging, all i can say is .........put yer hands in the air!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!. longing for the past again, leicester.

I live in leiceter, used to go to eclipse cov nearly every weekend around 90 to 91. I have become very political since those days, know about fractional reserve banking and the theft they perform. We should all join up and start a party, put a smile on everyones faces. I went to liquid leicester recently, they play trance, but it is shite, no one dances and just drunks standing around trying to pull.
Hi guys i used to have a mickey finn tape at the edge 92'. it had a prisoner cell block H remix near the end. any one know of it? it was wkd. unfortunately i lent it to a mate and his sister recorded her singing over it. propper numpty
