What a stupid video. How much capacity do those things have? Doesn't look like near enough for the WTC towers. And what about being above the fire? You're S.O.L., because you'd still have to go through smoke and flames. Not to mention how are you going to open the windows? And if you bust them open, all that glass is going to be hitting the people who are already out on the ropes or are on the ground. This product has limited usability, but would fail miserably in a 9/11 situation.

It is a shame you do not use your new found powers to warn us of what dangers lie ahead. Why did you not warn the AMRI Hospital in West Bengal that 94 patients and staffers would die just this past Dec 9th or even 9/11 for that matter. It must be much easier to sit and push letters on a keyboard. You are right grasshopper, it is much better to fall with the glass than be struck by it.

@amdni4 I have 3 years of Fire Science and almost 30 years in the fire service. The shortcomings of this product should be obvious to anyone experienced in firefighting. Your comment is idiotic. This product would have done no good to the occupants of the WTC towers, it obviously doesn't have enoug rope to get them to the ground, not to mention the other problems. My review of this product has nothing to do with whatever fire disasters that may occur in the future.

Each unit operates at 3 feet per second. Time is dependant on height of installation and how many units are in use around the building.
They may have died becuase there was no third choice as you point out, Thanks
