Brad Wilk was originally in Pearl Jam... Brother kept breaking cymbals so Eddie was like, I know this guy in LA that needs a drummer (Morello), then Pearl Jam made wilk's mind up for him and said you're fired so he went down to LA and started drumming for RATM. Just a little side story to the "I heart BRad Wilk" shirt. Also, Wilk is the drummer on "Revolution" RATM ft. MJK!

that said.. there's one thing maynard has come out to say..that he doesn't think video's of their gigs should be seen..that you should be there to feel the music..

but in this instance i can't agree with him.. think of how many in that Leno crowd would have just heard this as "noise", and not music/art. then think of how many around the world..see it for what it is.

I love Maynard like most on here but credit where credit is due. Without Billy this band as it was would never have been. Maynard gave it a voice but listen to Ashes Divide. The guy wrote, recorded, and mixed that gem by himself before he even had a touring band. Billy Howerdel is one talented cat. And lest not forget Billy did the vocals on a few APC tracks and lots of backing vocals ;)
