this opening was def. the best, to me, the only thing wrong with part 5, is that they killed off rachel, it just doesnt seem right without a strong female lead and jamie is still just a lil girl. the atmosphere is perfect though, it gives a feeling that hes pissed off darker and more determined than ever. the laundry shoot scene was awsome!!!

@HstandsforHorror09 both are great, but H5 has more of a witchcraft like feel to it. not that its bad, i kinda like it. but i favor H4 over H5

LOVE this opening with the carving as well, Although the film itself didn't meet everyone's expectations, I thought this theme done a lot for the film and in my opinion was the best opening from the series! Also- - In my opinion, the best mask!

great opening theme...to a horrible movie unfortunately. Had this been a dark gothic horror detailing Jamie as a phantom like child killer, with a ghostly phantom Myers looming ever in the background and a typically deranged Loomis, and a truly atmospheric depiction of Halloween/Haddonfield this could have been a genuien masterpiece like the original
