this would drive me nuts...i just bought a new car and has a few rattles too so i'm having the dealer try to fix it. it also happens when it gets cooler...i guess cars use too much plastic now a days =/
Tat2Dragons - The dealer did adjust the latch on their second try at fixing the problem. It didn't help. They ordered a new hydraulic damper and will try that next. This is a cold weather related problem that happens when it is below 45 degrees. No rattles all summer, but when it gets cold, I will probably get to listen to the buzzing rattling sound on my drives.
Ha ha. I had a 97 Taco prior to the Ridgeline. Did test the new Taco also before buying, but as you can see, I liked the RL better. Don't regret the decision yet. My SR5 Tacoma had a few annoying issues like non-retracting seatbelts that also drove me nuts and it had some very scary road chatter on washboard or bumpy snow roads, other than that loved the truck. Still need to take the Ridgeline to the dealership. It's not rattling in the summer, so I haven't been too motivated.
a lot of people seem to have that problem, you were just one of the unlucky ones, i have an 06 with almost as much miles as you and i dnt have that either

you can try cutting some sponge or felt and tape it to where it rattles. . .there are some things in life that just happens. .

Exchange vibration for rust and vibration. Ill take neither. Tacoma is a rust bucket, gas guzzling, noisy POS.

Hmm,maybe you could try adjusting the top hook like catch,to pull the glove box door tighter against the dash.
