So, I realize the only time many of you will explore certain cultures is when a "familiar face" comes in a does a documentary on it likes it NATIONAL GEOGRAPHIC. Here's a good introspection on New Orleans Bounce-
lazor sound he got it from a dutch house song and payed a few dollars for it i got the original song it came from so say what u say do what u do GOD BLESS AND MUCH SUCCESS
never miss a point but since u r a diplo holder it is what it is and alot of people wont open there mouth to say what it is because they be on some i feel the way u feel but i dont want to say anything in case i need him ,me i really don't care like i said it is what it is and im not afraid to say it on here in his face where ever u dig,but im no internet gangsta so imma leave as i came i spoke my peace so do what u do meaning keep taking sound oh and by the way he did not create that major
i guess your gonna steal there sound to, and claim u started im surprised you giving them love and letting people know where it came from guess u cant steal this
@JONNYBLAZE4U2002 I think you missed the point of the video. Diplo isn't a stealer of music. He is simply a vessel for a lot of different of genres. Genres that he has an equal amount of respect for. He is also a damn good producer, so when he goes into a scene, whether is house, dance hall (major lazer project), baile funk, or bounce; he is simply shedding light on the scene and putting the true essence of the scene out there, giving full credit to the originators as he did here in this video.
It's not just the "South Way Of Dancing" it's in most of our(African American's) blood. It's not nasty it is an art 2 b able 2 move Ur back bones like that(trust me i know)it originated w/our African relatives which is why from day 1 of my life when i hear a song with a fast tempo lots of claps snares and the "booty popping" sound my bones automatically react I usually "booty pop(BOUNCE)" when i am alone bcuz of the stereotypes that have been placed on me but i wn't no more it is an art & talent
I love bounce music but one thing that i do dislike is the way females dance to this music. I just feel that it is so unlady like shake you booty the way these females do to this music. To me this form of dance is not artistic and only belongs in strip clubs. I become disgusted i guess that is what really keeps me from going to clubs where this genera of music is played
@ladydrama85 if your not from new orleans you wouldn't understand it; Have you ever seen African dance? I guess that isn't art either because shaking your butt is so wrong!
@brno22504 Yes familiar African folk dance. I'm not from NOLA but i'm be there enough and seen it. The bounce style of dance is just not my taste i guess. I mean i guess you think what strippers do on a pole is art as well. Because that's all bounce dancing is but without a pole.
@ladydrama85 If you're disgusted it's because of your own hangups. Art is subjective and New Orleans is a city where people express themselves through dance often and anywhere. And most dances are sexual in nature anyway, bounce dances are just more obvious with it.
so basically hes gonna steal all these ideas from NO bounce and then go DJ in high class nightclubs in LA and NY lol
