Maybe the game is too "powerful" for your computer to handle. Like it requires a lot of power to run properly because in games like Fallout, there is a LOT of data stored within the game that has to be loaded.

i dont know if you've already done this or not, but if you have windows 7 or vista you should right click the shortcut or the actual file and go into preferences and run in compatibility mode for windows xp. that usually works with older games for me.

so vash, im a microsoft certified technician and i have seen your freezing issue. tbh not sure if it will work but in my work if a programme has a compatibilty issue with Win7 i create a shim, from the aplication compatibilty toolkit, which can be downloaded free online. and install sbinst.exe command... if you need help then give me a call but im not sure it wil work on a game ive never tried

Ive been playing New Vegas on the PC for about 4 hours, and its pretty awesome, but New vegas looks excactly the same as Fallout 3, and why is that.

I'm totaly new to the Fallout franchise, i only got New vegas a couple of days ago vash started posting FO3.

And does everybody say that this game is much better than New Vegas, and that New Vegas is filled with bugs and stuff. I havent noticed them at all!

@Zentrix97 The Cazadors aka "bugs" turn up around the left side of the map and everywhere at level 20+.

Fallout 3 just is better because the combat does'nt feel as dry as New Vegas. And the faction system isn't in it so you don't people start busting at you cause you shot them whilst wearing some faction armour.

toby ever thought of playing Indigo Prophecy, not as you recording it but as you playing it by yourself. It is a badass game. If you like heavy rain you will love indigo prophecy. or fahrenheit as its called in america for some reason. Only thing different from america version and UK version is the sex scenes.
