i just saw an interview with oneohtrix point never (music producer for those who dont know) and he said the soundtracks to these games were one of his main inspirations to make music! hearing this i can understand why

better than most of the game music that came after it too much emphasis is being put on graphics if they put it together with the great music they were forced to compose so perfectly to keep the crowd pleased in the SNES days then it would be better off ;_;

I do too. Honestly the tones in this one don't give it too much justice. When they used it for Kraid in Super Metroid I liked it as well. The 8-bit gave it a really awesome ambient feel that wasn't duplicated in this version to my liking.

one of the best metroid games... well, all of metroid is good, except maybe for hunters and corruption... theyre good, but not up to the metroid 1 - 3 standard...

actually, in the original the song was other, it didn´t have this stage, but planet zebes instead.

A remake is a remake, and they always have new stuff. Either way, I was happy when I got Norfair Depths(Super Metroid version) in the Magmoor Caverns in Metroid Prime.

The original song/music came from Metroid 1. This is just the remixed version they put in SSBM. But it's still really cool.
