  • thanks for the video!

  • Does under-nose facial hair prevent proper seal? I have the same style as Ben in the video.

  • @RadoDani It does make a difference! It’s really important to keep your mustache trim before you dive. It’s really hard to keep a good seal when you have bushy facial hair. I guess you need to choose between vanity and a good mask seal. I sometimes choose a mixture of both and deal with a little water in my mask! LOL!

  • thanks, very nice video.

    thanks

  • Is there anything you can do about water getting into your mask if it fits perfectly but when you smile, it smooshes your cheeks and causes wrinkles which let water in? Or is this problem common to everyone?

  • @ktyak You have run into a problem that pretty much everyone has, that is if you smile most likely the water is going to rush right into the mask and wipe that smile off your face. No matter how well the mask fits, if you smile it's going to leak, you just have to save the smiles for when you'r telling your friends of all the cool things you saw.

  • @ktyak Simply, don't smile.

  • how to determine which mask will have the least chance of getting foggy?

  • Unfortunately all masks are susceptible to fogging. This is because of the difference in temperature inside the mask and outside in the water, not to mention breathing (exhaling) accidentally through your nose. The only way to prevent it is to use the proper cleaner when you first get the mask JAWS Scrub Mask and Slate Cleaner and antifog such as JAWS Spit Anti-fog prior to the dive.

    Hope this helps!

  • lol.. my god this dudes a robot

  • finally.. a real pro giving some useful info... thanks!

  • Lots of info. Exactly what you need if you're a newbie snorkeler or diver shoppin for that first mask

  • good explanation!

  • Thank you for taking the time to explain, I prefer a large explanation than having to ask many questions.

  • this video could have been 3-4 minutes shorter
