There was "peace" in France between 1941 and 1944. I can think of a lot of places there was "peace" under a dictatorship. Left alone, the zionists were peaceful. They drained their swamps into the desert and lived peacefully with Arabs and anyone who didn't attack Them 1st. I'm sure Gaza was much better off under Egytian rule and the West Bank was better off under Jordan's rule. Too bad Arabs used Gaza and the West bank as foward assembly points in their many wars against Israel, or the Palestinians could be being "governed" by the Egyptians and Jordanians once again.
