A lot of that fight was a struggle for positioning and dominance, the ring was only 18 feet. Alternatively advancing and jabbing/jab left hooking and switching stances was a big part of Ward's strategy to keep Kessler from developing a rhythm. It's not fair to accuse him of cheating, headbutting, because when you advance in boxing, just like when you bob weave/duck and cover, your head SHOULD be down, positioned so the crown, the strongest part, will take abuse. Kessler was outclassed.

The problem with Direl and Ward is they been fighting cream Puffs prior to this tournament and this will be their down fall. That's why Direl had to run and hold because he had no confidence in himself to win a slug fest. But agnist c level boxer he did.
