How do u code it so when the player faces the other way the animation changes as well, for example when my character is turning left and I run towards the right, the animation still appears as if the player is running right even though I am going left.

love ya man. your tutorials have helped me to not only better understand how to work in 2d, they have helped me learn allot about AS3 coding in general. only one complaint from me ( i hope you will not be too offended...). Its your intro. Super cool and the tut for it is awesome, but its sooo loud that i have to skip it every time or i get my ears blown off. Other than that, you rock!! thanks for everything Borris. hey man thanks , very good stuff, I'm just having trouble at the very end with the arm facing and rotating the right way when it changes direction,( everything is good to the right but not the left) its the opposite rotation direction, and bullets are off position etc. I've tried many variations, and am going crazy! can I send you my .fla file to check out? .....thanks a lot ....do you have a direct e-mail i can send it to. thanks!!!

line 64 doesnt give me any clue where to start looking for your error. first of all, your lines of code could be different from mine. second i dont even know what your error code is, or the description so i cant fix it. the best way for me to help you with an error is for you to send me your code and ill fix it and tell you what your error was.
