  • love it

  • That exhaust can't be good on the valves.....

  • im building a 2002 buell m2 cyclone chopper need a wire diagram can you help bobkenda4@aol.com thanks any help would be awsome

  • i think your air cleaner is on wrong

  • Love the bike dude. Is that custom made exhaust? Or something bought from distributer? Would an exhaust like that work on the 1200 sporty?

  • buell bobbers are THE SHIT !!!! my next project will be buell, after i sell my xs650 bobber. or softail, idfk, LMAO

  • this thing is killer

  • Has that thing been ever dynoed? Dosent those short pipes rob alot of power from the motor?

  • how is that a buell? thats the sportster frame and motor, with buell rims and breaks

  • @amazi007 buell motor in a paughco frame

  • doun't like sittin position (back will hert after an hour) and tank geometrix, other than that it is nice, especially sound

  • great!

  • Thats a really nice bike, nice work mate=)

  • Why is it that the buell motors make more hp than the harleys? Just slightly bigger pistons or something?

  • @mindthreat44 The Buell Thunderstorm engine has high flow cylinder heads and a more aggressive cam profile. Piston size and displacement are still the same. If I'm not mistaken, the Buell drivetrain also has a light-weight flywheel allowing the engine to rev quicker giving much improved throttle response.

  • Great job dude! more vids pls

  • SHIT i know ERIC BUELL has seen this bike! i bet he likes it too!!

  • Burn the tire or something ,my Grandaughter can do that and she is almost 6 ! nice job on the bike !

  • same xl engine. buells are just hopped up sporters. buell xb1200 is 94hp xl 1200is 72hp. also buells weigh 350 lbs xls weigh 500lbs. Buellsters are very badass.

  • Glad to see this bike,i have a Triumph Tiger 900 triple motor which i'm going to make a bobber with,i have a Yamaha R1 back wheel(widest thing i could find) and a Suzuki Katana front wheel, both 17 inch so i could use some wide sport bike rubber on,i wasn't sure how the modern tri spoke wheels would look on a bobber, well thats answered now, they look great, thanks.

  • Damn!!! Sweet Ride.......

  • damn. That is a nice looking bike.

  • this is something you dont see everyday. job well done. awesome bike.

  • sounds nice

  • This bike is ridiculous. Aside from being glossy and having a buell motor, rather than the sporty, this is exactly the bike I want to build. Well, I guess I'd like mini-apes, too, but that doesn't matter. What's the frame?

  • Godamn what a beuty :D

I wanna own one like this someday

  • real nice

  • sick

  • thanks

  • Very nice, man.

  • Sick bike dude.

Was thinking, how much power does the buell 1200 engine put out apposed to the standard 1200 sporty?

  • The Sporty will put out high 60s, low 70s while the Buell 1200 makes between 84 -94 horse, depending on year, and the injected makes 101hp.

  • very nice

  • That seat looks rough on the tush, especially if you accelerate too fast and scoot back onto that rear wheel. Needs longer pipes. Otherwise, this is ONE BADASS MACHINE!! Heads are huge looking.

  • kinda reminds of the nightster...

  • I love this bike, this is the bike i would love to ride.

  • badass bike! man those pipes r short! only thing i would change is the rear fender.

  • Real Cool lookin bike due Sounds sweet too

  • im buying this bike as soon as i can, i love it

  • holy shit!! that is 1 sick bike, dude! nice work

  • Nice job, I been actually looking at Buels for what they are. I saw one on the street, and Id be proud to have one stock. Very cool, like a modern Mustang or GTO, Still a muscle bike, but a crotch rocket. The one I sqw was all sleek like an F16

  • can i has it lol

  • Thanks man

  • how many time i viewed ths video...irealy like this bike men!!!realy kick ass!!

  • Thanks!

  • I'm now using the stock pipes. i was thinking of switching them to the straight flow type. people told me that i will lose the low end pull. is that true ? will i have a better top end power with teh stright flow ?

  • sHORT PIPES WILL KILL uR POWER BAND. U need some back pressure that longer pipes give ya..with shorties like U got there Ur power band is very narrow....ruins performance...ya U need longer pipes..

  • Comment removed

  • yea see if you can fit some black 2-1 thunderheaders on that thing..

2 into 1 is what you need

  • Sick bike, one of the nicest buell bobbers ive seen. Who makes that helmet by the way my full face is too hot in the summer.

  • Thanks, the helmet is a matt black german from Jafrum . com

  • nice bike man, i got a 2002 buell s3 thunderbolt that im wanting to convert into a bobber similar to this one. im pretty rook when comes to this but im looking for a paughco frame. is there anything imperticular i should be looking for?

  • If you are planning on using the Buell wheels make sure you find a Paughco that will accept up to a 180/200mm tire, the standard 35 degree Paughcos accept up to a 140mm. We ended up using a standard and fabbing our own rear clip to take the 180mm.

  • Is the engine mounted on the buell isolation mounts?

  • The Buell iso mounts are not used.

  • did you retain the F.I.? and if so, hows it work with those pipes? i here sportsters,/buells burn valves with open headers.

  • The motor is a carb model, 97-02 M2. We've never had any problems with burnt valves.

  • very nice. I'm looking to do the same to mine and I've been eyeing those frames.

  • is that a poughco frame?

  • It is a Paughco frame set up to run a 110mm rear. We added our own rear wishbone to accommodate a 180mm tire.

  • ride what you want to. who gives a fuck. put em in the wind!!!!!!!!!!

  • bunch of losers had to delete my comment from a while ago. You guys suck and dont know how to ride so you put around un ugly ass bikes that dont corner and you cant do anything on. If I forget how to ride that what I will do.

  • why do you give a shit about cornering so much? So fucking what if you can corner. Wow, the corner master! You're bike is the ultimate cornering machine. Go eat shit, I can ride my bobber across country if I wanted, fuck your standards. That bike will get the job done unless you're a pussy that can't adapt to different styles and tough it out on a bike like that. You're one of those guys that thinks his specific bike is god's gift to whatever the fuck. No one gives a shit.

  • you what??? just cause you can only get plastic fantastic bikes round corners wow why do we all want the same factory fresh bike, this bike will go round corners that is if you know how to ride a bike.

  • That thing has to be crazy fast..

  • 1 hell of a bike bro

  • fuck yeah!!! gotta love bobbers!!!!!

  • Pretty sick!

  • great looking bike!

  • I wouldn't be talking too much about "stupid, uneducated, white trash" personalities if I were you, without looking in the mirror.

  • Spell check........fail.

  • This bike looks like it has a reasonable seating position, most buell choppers look like two-wheeled iron maidens rolling down the road (the torture device, not the band).

  • Yeh the buell is better in corners, but this looks better.

  • Ok it handles like crap, can only ride for about 15 minutes before you have to get off. And looks is a matter of oppinion I wouldnt be seen on a bobber. Not my style. If you not skilled enough to take the corners and ride a buell to its potentual then I guess you can turn it into a bobber

  • The real shame is to see a Harley motor in a sportbike in the first place. Great job comparing a bike built to handle corners with one that is not. As far as sportbikes go Buell's are pieces of shit, so I guess it's fitting that you own one. If you ain't down with the DTP go fuck yourself.

  • the pipes have header wrap on them, it keeps the heat in, they still get warm but not warm enough to cook your pants

  • pipes?

  • Im not sure if you acquired the frame through someone else or if you baught direct from paughco. But If you did could you tell me what the model number is cuz their site navigation is kinda confusing.

  • Nice bike, i love the frame Gotta scrap together some cash. to assemble. Might even use that frame. gonna throw in a motor from the 99 thunderbolt. But i think I'll use an inverted front end From a Drz400 SM.

  • nice

  • looks nice....needs drag bar.

  • Nice bike!! Belt drives are cool!!! I own a Speed Triple, and have no choice but chain drive. I'd LOVE to enjoy the cleanliness, good looks, and no-hassle character of a belt drive...

  • very interesting combo, love the bike! i want to build my own bobber one day...but imma have to wait till i graduate from college and have some spare money!

  • awsome bike good sound bobber dan new zealand

  • Love the exhaust ; ;.

  • hands down the best buell bobber i have seen. i like the look of the belt! did you build this yourself? is there any "kit" out there that would make this BEAUTY of a bike achievable fore a mere mortal? i would love to do this one day to my XB. killer bobber bro!!

  • Great Job!!! Be cool!

  • Not bad, But I never done!!

  • dude. fucking.....BAD ASS. love the look and everything. one suggestion...CHAIN DRIVE CONVERSION BRO!!! screw the belt drive. ruins the look. A+

  • We ran a Baker 530 chain kit on our Buell chopper, and the same chain conversion on a Buell springer we just finished, much cleaner look.

  • haha nice exhaust system xD

  • one of the sexiest bikes i have EVER seen, good job!!!!

  • Really really neat bike! As a matter of fact im hoping to do the very same thing....i first saw the idea about a year ago.... theres a kit that comes with almost everything youd need to do something like that to a new buell.....Great job dude...you gotta love those bobbers!

  • COOL !!!!

  • too true

  • great job!

  • Inspiration maybe?

  • not bad. i'm embarrassed our rebuild is so shit but hang in there!

  • We're keeping with ya. Give some background on what he started with, while we're waiting.

  • Whats the specs on that frame? Rake, Stretch? I bet that bikes pretty quick too, those cyclone motors have about 100hp.

  • The frame has a 35 degree rake and standard stretch. We replaced the big twin neck with Buell cups so we could run the thicker forks. The frame is widened at the rear to run the Buell 170mm tire, it will take up to a 200mm. The motor supposedly makes 101 hp from the factory, hopefully we freed up one or two extra with 1 3/4" open exhaust and carb tuning.

  • what year paughco/sportster frame is this,i have a 77-86 frame will that fit a buell motor? and what year buell motor is that? im looking to build a buell now ,is it a fuel injection convertion. killer bike!!

  • church

The frame is set up to fit a 1986-2003 Sportster, and it also accepts Buell motors. The motor is out of a 2002 Cyclone, a carbureted motor from the factory.

  • That is one sweet ride man! Congrats!

  • Great sound.

  • looks good, what kinda frame is it

  • It is a Paughco frame that was set up for a Sportster 110mm rear tire, we widened it at the rear to accommodate the Buell 170mm tire.
