  • Wow, not only does this woman redefine "laziness", but I'm betting she also has MSG oozing from her pores due to all the over-processed chemically-enhanced foods she seems to think so highly of.

Oh, and another thing: who the f--k wears a white top when cooking w/ balsamic vinegar???

  • why is it too much work for her to toast a slice of bread?

  • 5 minutes my ass. You said those mushrooms had been marinating for hours.

  • Looks like shit.

  • "It's got balsamic in there, there's roasted garlic in there... vinegar..."

So, to be clear: she has no idea what balsamic vinegar is, right? To be fair, she's probably never seen it outside of vinuhgarette form, I suppose.

  • Once every few months, I have a Sandra Lee Marathon.

The comments keep getting more aggressive <3

  • Seriously? Bitch can't toast her own bread in the oven?

  • Comment removed

  • She puts too many mushroom slices in that pan, that's why they won't sear. It's sauteed mushroom not pan seared mushroom dear Auntie Sandy -_-

  • So slugs on toast...okay

  • She calls it VINEGAR-RETTE...

  • Nice nice hanging rack, and a cute lil see-thru thingie she's got on.

Sandra should film the next kitchen adventure WITHOUT the bra.

It's a Portabello. You can take it ANYwhere...

  • Gross. It looks like boiled slugs on a bed of pus.

  • @cupicaik125 I read this comment before I watched and thought you must be exaggerating. Then I saw the finished product. You were right.

  • @cupicaik125 I laughed so hard when I saw your comment haha! That was funny!

  • "And look at that presentation, its not even DONE yet!" you mean you can still make it worse than it already is?! ofc she can. i like how she has the gall to think that any of her creations can be equivalent to something in an expensive restaurant

  • Comment removed

  • U can see her reflection in the oil.. haha

  • "Give your mushroom a little massage" yyyyeeep..

  • Except if you found it in an expensive restaurant and it said "roasted portobello" you might be excused for expecting them to be roasted and not stewed in bottled salad dressing.

Mmmm... reduced vinegar. Bet they taste like hell.

  • So, it's too much effort to make toast but it's acceptable to wait for hours to "marinate" the mushrooms?!

OMG a roasted garlic vinaigrette has roasted garlic and vinegar in it?! Who knew?!

  • SALAD DRESSING IS NOT A MARINADE.

  • You should start taking lessons from Laura Vitale

  • Gvhr

  • "Y'know because i never got why people would buy a fresh loaf of bead then cut it up and toast it, that takes like 20 minutes all by itself. When you could buy these YUUHMEEE cheap crap slices of crap instead!"

  • dammit aunt sandy, stop using salad dressing as marinades >.<

  • she said 'dont be afraid' and 'dont be alarmed' in the same video its like stop the fuckin car

  • oko first of all the reason youd buy fresh bread and toast it yourself is cause it doesnt taste like a crusty shoe

  • who roasted those peppers? oh. not her.

  • She used the balsamic roasted garlic vinegarette dressing.... and then said "It's great, it has balsamic, garlic, vinegar..... and other herbs.." why? why? I knew it has those 3 main ingredients because that's the name of the dressing... oh aunt Sandy... you're hopeless....

  • You always make me drool WHY?!?!?!

  • This hoe may be the worst cook on TV. It's so sad that retards like her get TV shows on how to cook.

  • I guess I could say the same thing, why buy it pre roasted when you could do it yourself easily and cheaply?

  • roasted garlic balsamic vinigrette "there's balsamic in there, there's garlic in there, there's vinigar in there" Seriously? I would have never guesed.

  • did I see seeds still in those red peppers????? is she fucking nuts?

  • looks yummy

  • why does she insist on using salad dressings for everything? she can't make a simple marinade from scratch? fail

  • VineGURette.

  • Salad dressing is not a seasoning. Not. A seasoning. It's not. It's just not. It's also not some kind of pre-made sauce. It's got different kinds of oils and preservatives and (especially in the case of these kinds of vinaigrettes she uses) binders and emulsifiers and crap like that in it. That's why it looks so goopy and unappetizing.

  • Am i the only one that heard her say 'jews want to sear them' at 1:15? XD

  • this cant be life...

  • since when did toast take 20 minutes to make?

  • @MrUnicornXD Actually crostini takes about 15 minutes in the oven, to get properly dehydrated enough. I don't know why that's an issue, because it's not like it's hard. Also the bakery is usually OK with slicing the bread for you if you ask.

  • @deeno ik. but still its kinda lazy to buy it 'pre-sliced' like she always does. it doesnt take that much effort to slice some bread. -.-

  • Well, i make my own toast because i know it's gonna be good, and it takes 3 minutes instead of 20

  • "This is roasted garlic balsamic vinaigrette...it's got roasted garlic in there, balsamic and vinegar"

    Gee, what tipped you off?

  • @PseudonymxSam At least her reading is better than her cooking. >_>;

  • She said "How easy is that?" Sandy, you're "culinary" skills are nowhere near that of Ina Garten's.

  • GROSS! GROSS! GROSS! Even Aunt Sandy herself wont eat THAT! yuck!

  • It looks delicious .

  • The idea of using salad dressing as a marinate seems icky to me...

  • I like it but is the mushroom poison?

  • OMFG SANDRA LEE CUT UP HER OWN VEGETABLES! *DIES OF SHOCK*

  • @Blunderbuss09 She had time to spare because she didn't toast the bread.

  • She can't....even toast her own fucking bread.

    God is she useless. T__T

  • that balsamic vingegar looks like diarrhea

  • @Kristanni20X6 I'm sorry, I mean vinaigrette

  • I'm surprised she didn't find pre-sliced portobello mushrooms

  • It's got BALSAMIC! Oh boy!

  • @emjewel123 Well, it definitely wouldn't be her cooking.

  • I get to take all the credit, really?!

  • BUT SHE NEVER ROASTED THE PORTOBELLOS.

Or the crostini, either. (As opposed to "crostinis.")

  • @spence900 parli italiano?

  • @ClaudB89 Nope. That's just how we normally say it in in English, if we're not Sandra Lee :-)

  • @spence900 hahaha ^^

  • 20 minutes to toast bread, ...ahahaha

  • Where did she get those mushrooms, from her backyard.

  • she bought pre-toasted and cut bread?

    wow.

  • hahahah, I found myself laughing after she gives a description for Roasted garlic balsamic vinaigrette:" It has roasted garlic, balsamic and vinegar" :))

  • She is so in to semi-homemade that letting the air out of the seal bag before giving the mushrooms a "massage" will exceed the percentage of 50% Homemade.

  • Oh Sandra, my sin, my soul. Just LOOK at that presentation. I will NOT be afraid to let the juice drip right down the sides.

  • that spread looks like yeast infection discharge

  • She's going to make this for someone's wedding? She must be bitter.

  • @TheLizzifer Its for Satans wedding

  • It's just so classy that her shirts are always made of the same material as her curtains.

Also classy that she uses herbs and spices that are worthless since they're dried and packaged like that. Just throw some dust in instead - probs taste better.

"When you can buy something like this!" Why? It's called making food that tastes good and is healthier, Sany. You should try it sometime.

  • 1:54 mash potatoes and gravy !

  • Wait, I just noticed something, she's claiming that the lack of fat in the ricotta will make up for the lardpie... I mean, cake she'll pseudo-assemble later on, but then she adds that godawful garbage dressing which most probably contains a fuckton of calories... No Sandy, if you want a real nutritious appettizer you've gotta lay off the prepackaged shit.

  • How does somebody who is supposed to be teaching others how to cook, not know that you should never have mushrooms that crowded in a pan?

  • Arnt you supposed to take the "gills" out?

  • HORF.

  • Pre... toasted... bread... ?!?!?!

I think my head just exploded.

  • You can totally taste the difference between freshly toasted bread and store bought ...

  • I never thought I'd hear someone say "now, give your mushrooms a little massage!"

  • do you think what you are making? we dont care if its pretty or not! we just like the taste!!!!! find a brain woman!!!!

  • those mushrooms loke like shit

  • @paulyte2 LOLOLOLOL XD

  • You have too much time on your hands Sandy.

  • I'm frightened by the amount of garbage she adds to the ricotta.

  • There's pre-toasted packaged bread now? Only in the world of Aunt Sandy.

The "crostini" sounded like rocks as it hit that plate.

  • Silly Sandy, "Balsamic" is Balsamic Vinegar.

  • the presentation is awful - looks like boiled slugs on a bed of pus

  • @cccpjbr LOL

  • I love greenleafslove's comment, 5 stars for it.

  • also, textue-wise that seems like it'd be bloody unappealing. that bread looks rock hard and everything else looks like it was coated in slime.

  • those mushrooms seriously looked like cat hork.

  • Nice Dollar Store zip bags.

  • erugh...that mushroom salad dressing marinade looks awful.

  • Making toast takes 20 minutes? Seriously lady?

  • @greenleafslove Well yeah, when you stop regularly to take swigs of bourbon it takes some time!

  • @greenleafslove Yeah she likes it burnt haha lol

  • iono bout this
