After "The first time ever I lay with you and felt your heart so close to mine" there is supposed to be "I thought our joy would fill the earth and last til the end of time, my love."

But, Celine has shown again that she is more interested in demonstrating her vocals rather than conveying the emotion of a song as written. Check the Johnny Mathis and Roberta Flack versions.
