I am in love with this song. Final Fantasy VII was the greatest video game I have ever played. It was so deep and emotional and amazing to play. Hearing this song gives me goosebumps. It's so crazy, because I get this weird feeling when I think about the epicness and amazing story-line of Final Fantasy VII. It is by far, my all time favorite video game.

I hated that boss, Jenova under the guise of Sephiroth killed Aerith and fled leaving behind a beast that formed out of the testicle or whatever she threw at Cloud. When I first played FFVII, I thought this song was happy. Then Aerith died, and the meaning changed for me. But as an adult, I can tell it was always a very bittersweet song. Would Aerith approve of Cloud moping around 24/7? Any of us? No. Aerith had a rough life. Rougher than Sephiroth, Cloud, any of the characters, yet she still found joy in the simplest of things, and insisted on bringing joy to those around her. After all, you miss a fictitious character don't you? Aerith succeeded. Her wish was for us to live on, so way I see it, this song brings about joy and sorrow.
