  • I love this song, where is he nowadays?

  • This song is great!

  • i remeber recording this song back in 1989 here in NYC, while listening to CD. 101.9 me and my best friend (still friends) were amazed at how the instruments went together, the lyrics, everything. and i am so glad I'm listening to it here on you tube. hahahaha funny how i got on Google and I'm typing the lyrics. lol and finally it lead me to here. thank you VinylTracks for this pleasant surprise.

  • Havent heard this song in 16 years been searchin every where!!! Thanks Soooo Much for postin this one.

  • Funny that this song has become a standard with American college vocal jazz groups...New York Voices lifted a lot from this also....

  • Just Beautiful! My favorite Yutaka song is Warm and Sunny Morning! :)

  • So this is the guy that does the Weather Channel Music. lol * Partly Cloudly - (Yutaka jams) lol. * High 95* ( view of the map )

    lol He is really good.

  • 曲もアレンジも緻密で深い♪

    日本が世界に誇る天才アーティストですね♪

  • Ditto! Kanehirugger!

  • ブラザジア、いいですね!

    アナザー・サンと共に夏の定番でした、今でも同じ!

  • i remember hearing this almost daily on cd 101.9 in ny....i bought the cassette...it's mood setting..c'mon admit it! it makes you smile...thanks so much!

  • I've been listening to Yutaka since he got on the airwaves in the mid-80s. And...get this Pauline Wilson, who does the vocals on his tracks, since she was with Seawind in the 70s. I know I'm showing my age, but I'm young for my age, but I was only 20 when I got into this style of music. And, I want to play the keyboards like that! Killer. You can't deny it!

  • Yea, it absolutely sounds like Seawind on vocals, I thought of it before I read your comment. Great music, indeed it sounds like Seawinds jazziest stuff.

    Thanks for uploading.

  • Got any other favorites you want to turn me on to? I've got a few....Acoustic Alchemy "Playing for Time" noted as the "greatest driving song of all time" and this one is weird...but great stuff Bebo y Cigala "Lagrimas Negras" check out the track "Eu Sei Que Vou Te Amar / Coraçao Vagabundo" beautiful stuff.

  • @malikbukaii Yep I heard them on CD 101.9 too. I was said to see that station go.

  • This is an underrated beautiful piece of music...people truly don't know what music is until they have heard this...thanks for posting this practically unknown gem!!!!

  • I agree.

  • Of course, bru. This is what real music is all about, regardless of where it comes from

  • ブラザジア、最高。

  • goosebumps...I love this,keep 'em coming : )

  • another one of my favorite is east by south.

  • On exactly august 17th, 2001 I went to a pawn shop and found not one but both of Yutaka's CD's that a local radio station had sold to them, and they were still in the wrapping!!! No lie.... I got both of them for $2.00 each!!! I mean, an out of print gold mine like this? I remember loaning my first cd's to a friend of mine but never got them back. You can best believe that won't happen again. I mean every song on the Brazasia and Another Sun album is good!! Wish he did more! Thanks for vid

  • @willida11 I know just how you feel. I had a friend steal my only yutaka album over 30 years ago. I just discovered him on youtube and am thrilled and am so excited i dont know how i will ever sleep tonight.

  • @ibeathejazz Whew!!!! I didn't realize I made that comment 2 years ago! LOL. Time flies. Well, Yutaka's music will always be timeless as long as I live. If only more people could see the beauty of jazz like this.

  • Please post more songs! One of my favorite is "Solitaire".

  • Give me more.. This is good music.....Nothing like it... nothing.....

  • At last... I had this CD.. It is so beautiful..but hard to find....Please post more songs...so I can share with my friends in Facebook......I listened to it everyday.. It is food for the soul....

  • Thx for posting this song! I used to own this "album" on cassette, but lost it. It's apparently very difficult to find Yutaka's music online. He's a very cool guy, too. When I used to play keyboards in the L.A. music scene, my singer friend Jesse and Yutaka were doing some recording together. You've gotta listen to Yutaka's first GRP album, Love Light, too. He's definitely got a way with a song.

  • I had this great song on an album of "Duets" that also featured among others Jose Felicano and Patti LaBelle and Larry Carlton and Lee Ritenaur

  • i have all the grp releases of this artist long live this man - where is he and why is he not recording??? grusin was a gem to sign this talented man !!!

  • He's still around. Occasionally, I see his name on other artists albums.

Two albums that I remember off the top of my head are Flora Purim's "Speak No Evil", and Kevyn Lettau's "Little Things".

  • My absolute favorite track by Yutaka!

    Thanks,

  • you're welcome.

  • @2BoysAusGermany, I feel the same!
