  • 6 people couldnt dance like that gay baby

  • Nobody puts Baby in a corner!

  • oh noes... i miss him . :( DAMN MY LIFE!! ლ(ಠ益ಠლ

  • @MikuMikuDanceEpic He suffered from paranoid schizophrenia and clinical depression.

  • BROADWAY STYLE!!! XD

  • Interesting thing. The people who play villains, monsters, and intentionally ugly people in general are very nice people off camera, but comedians tend to clock in and out of humor. On camera, they're energetic and funny. Off camera, they're tired and not so personable.

  • It's all for you Jeni. We will all mourn the loss of your comedic godness. We will all be looking for you in the next life. We will all miss you...

  • Agreed. He was really good. Well his suicide means he missed something in this world. Hope he found it in world we're yet to know.

  • The man was more than brilliant.. he's probably the best improv standup comedian i've ever seen. I remembered one day I went to his stand up and he just asked the audience to pick a topic.. bless his soul and hope he entertains the audience above the clouds.. maybe the almighty would laugh too hard and force him to come back to earth cuz he forced almighty raining earth too much....

  • What a pleasure to read your captivating writing style! Your writing is so kind and tender.

  • I wasn't trying to sound that way. I just wish talented people would stop dying so young. Thanks for the encouraging words. I will try to write better, just for your lovely comments :D

  • He was my favorite comedian. I still miss him to this day...nobody quite like him. Try not to judge him too harsh folks....we all have our troubles and crosses to bear. In my opinion, he was the best at his craft; he made me laugh for years. R.I.P. Richard!!

  • hahahaa fuckin hilarious! R.I.P Richard Jeni

  • The man was brilliant, so talented and SO missed :(

  • May you rest in peace. To be completely honest, if he isn't in Heaven, then I'm willing to bet Satan's gonna like his material, and I doubt everyone's going to be as miserable if there's ANY comedic individual down there.

  • R.I.P Rich, You were great and I hope now you're doing Comedy for The Lord.

    You Will Forever Be Missed.

  • One of my favorite comedians period. One of the few celebrity deaths that affected me. Wish we could see another HBO comedy special!

  • Yeah i know he so funny!! Why did he have to go?

  • i dont see why this guy was depressed, he seems to be a very happy guy of what i´ve seen----

  • At least he was happy making everyone else laugh. on all my bad days I can look to some of his comedy to do the trick

  • Lots of performers seem to be happy on stage, but not so happy off of it.

  • Most comedians have some mental problems. For him he was hearing voices

  • Am I the only one who doubts the claim that he committed suicide? Call me what you will, but part of me suspects his girlfriend did it.

  • Why would his girl blow his head off?

  • She didn't...He killed himself... :(

  • Yeah I know. I was replying to somebody a few pages back who said his wife killed him.

  • she was his girlfriend; they weren't married. What a sad chapter in the lives of all who loved this gifted man.

  • I lowe this man. I can tell he's one of my favourites. İt'z e real shame that he's gone. I miss him :(

  • 6,7,8 hi everybody nice to be here

    RIP man

  • hheh its a shame he is gone

  • R.I.P Richard Jeni He Was A Funny Ass Nigga

  • @kingcapo58 nigga? ok...

  • i saw him live in california at the Ice House abour 10 years ago, a great show I must say, my stomach hurt from laughing

  • Who was he talking about here? Richard Simmons?

  • No one in particular, you'd have to see the whole thing I think. He was just talking about how being gay isn't a so much a choice and that some people "are just born gay"... etc...

  • Jeni was my favorite comedian. I was shocked by his suicide. How could anyone take his own life while seeming so full of joy? I will always miss him!

  • x2

I loved the guy. What an entertainer.

  • There are plenty of people who've committed suicide who seemed like they had it all and were very happy.

  • @taylorhart7 im not saying this to give desrespect to u or him but its called acting and putting on faces

  • he had chronic depression

  • @taylorhart7 Why did he commit suicede? This guy was a legend!

  • @GrubRising13 Just go to his Wikipedia page and you'll find out why.

  • @taylorhart7 Most comedians suffer from manic depression, I suppose it's the curse of the talent.

  • i was so sad when i heard what had happened, he was talented, i know he missed by many. it so sad

  • richard jeni makes me shit myself erveytime i watch his material hes so damn fuuny

  • I guess that's good...? LOL ;)

  • omg.....hes dead...omg!

    i'm sorry 4 his family!

    hes hella funny!

    may he rest in peace!

  • I really can't believe he shot himself, I mean I just read that on wikipedia... I knew he died but how can some one that funny take his own life... it scares me alittle, I'll miss him

  • Yeah, I know what you mean. He was a really funny man. What a shame.

  • not all funny man are funny..quite frankly most of them are actually deeply depressed =/

  • my little sis adores his jokes, can u believe shes only 11??? richard jeni's jokes will live on, hes presence will stay in our souls forever

  • "His presence will reside in our souls forever"...Best ever compliment, ever!!! That expressed just how I feel about him, but could not find the words to express that sentiment until I happened upon your comment, "screammeasongimnotok"...Thank you for that, luv, thank you...:)

  • and? i mean im 12 and i love his jokes too

  • nice.....

  • during every akward silence a gay baby is born...just thought u should know

  • Six, seven, eight! Hi, everybody!

  • Haha! That's hilarious!

  • You miserable punk faggot. rip dude. you will be missed

  • This really broke my heart. I remember seeing him for the first time back in the 80's on NY Eve as part of a standup special with other comedians. He talked about his family and his father. I was crying he was so funny and he became my fav. standup for all these years. So many times I went to his site to try to score tickets to see him perform but it never worked out. Thankfully he left a body of work albeit to short that we can remember him by.

RIP Rich and thanks for all of the laffs.

  • I'll bet that would be the armless, legless lint-sucking stumps routine, right? "But we were thankful for what we had!" Got any idea where that could be bought?

Jeni was truly one of a kind, and my all-time favorite comedian. I'll always miss him.

  • Excellent commentary, "StevieKeys", Thank you for that...:)

  • This was such a shock for me. His comedy was never bitter or malicious at all. I feel so sad. I still

remember a bit he did about the difference between

US and British new reporting: "I'm Elizabeth-Crumpets-

    Bumbleshoot-Fortnight-Wellington-" His idea of a

"typical" British name! I'm so sorry, Dickon. Thank

you for a thousand laughs. IJH

  • RIP Jeni, very sad.. one funny dude!!!

  • RIP, Richard.

  • good bye man... :(

  • People keep asking "why?"

Let me venture a guess. It must be a psychological drain for those at the top of their game to serve everyone like he did. So the question is: "Where does he go for *HIS* buzz? What made HIM happy, or who was going to serve him when he needed it? Being that funny, it would be hard to make a man like that laugh. (Genuinely) That would be only one component of a complex question/answer.

  • Ray Combs was his idol. ooops. Should I not have said that.

  • you think that's funny prick

  • I'm sure he appreciates that, even in his death he's still funny.

  • But why did you say Ray Combs..because he commited suicide..You think suicide is funny

  • relax dude, he made a joke, not in good taste but whatever, leave him be

RIP Jeni, I'm so glad i had a chance to see him just a month ago at the Laugh Factory

  • Oh yeah, it's okay to have a "morbid sense of humor" until it happens to one of your loved-ones...then see how it feels...and, no, humor cannot be found in EVERY situation, I wish that that were true, but no, it's not when it's personal...Love and peace to all, in commemoration of Richard...

  • That was funny. Funny people die too much.

  • Why richard? Why did u do it?

  • I'd wait for the blood spatter evidence to come in before I'd make the "suicide" call.

  • It's too bad he has passed away. R.I.P. to a genuinely funny person.

  • I dont call eating a gun, "passing away".

  • lol
