I think the title is the main thing you and other crybabies are concerned with. The title is ironic. As is the premise of the movie. Believe me, most Christians in this Country are more out of it as regards understanding the movie as anyone. It's not about one Religion vs. another, it's about understanding the subtleties of Brook's comedy.

I guess we saw two different movies, such are our outlooks: two very different ones. If I wasn't an admirer of Brooks, I may likely have not responded to this movie so well, yet I'm certain I wouldn't be offended by any of it's content. The best comedy will do as any fine art - help to put the spectator in the shoes of another walk of life, to see things from a different perspective. If you found these shoes to be ill-fitting, or miss-matched, that's too bad. God's children got shoes!
