@pobhockle : No I don't think it's doing fifths. Those are single notes on this guitar sound but I know what you mean.Each note does kind of sound like almost a chord being played on these lower notes.

Hi, I just wanted to say that you are truly the best I have ever heard on the piano dude. That is awesome. I subscribed I also commented on Axel F/ Popcorn if you remember! I also want to get a new keyboard! I only have the 3 Yamaha units and they are all different.(so not much experience here) The motif rack has the most sounds,but no beats,speakers or even a keyboard : ) Most serious keyboards do not have speakers. My opinion is get the most expensive keyboard you can afford that fits YOUR needs!!! THX

@marifzee : Pff good question! I don't know what you want the keyboard to do! They all have their limitations! I certainly don't know the NP V80 can do or can't do so why do you feel that it was a mistake? what is it you are missing? Correct the MM6 has no speakers but I always use headphones or line out and listen through my PC's speakers. I think the PSR 500-550 is more of an arranger function keyboard than the MM6 but the MM6 has a few of the Motif sounds...until you hear a real Motif

@marifzee : Well,I suggest that you check them all out in a store if you can! I chose the MM6 because it had the knobs for live tweaking ,had awesome sounds and I could navigate it with ease in the store! Quick sound changes,lots of preset memory (64 panel settings to call up quick) etc. However it was disapointing to find out that it will not let you make your own drum beats,no quantizing,basically VERY limited editing for what they call a synthesizer! Chek out PSRs! Maybe better?

I had a realy old Yamaha keyboard. When I pressed one of the keys I thought global thermonuclear war had started. (I played it through disco speackers at full blast. Not to mention the sound was scarier than the Grudge!)

In the first case, I will not be able to play it much better than this, in the second case it is not possible to tune the keyboard within it self! ( the whole keyboard can be tuned and transposed up and down but the individual keys are not possible to tune relative to each other)
