No he didn't, the doctor stopped the fight. Yeah he had a bad attitude and that was because ortiz hand was shattered. He had to get surgery after the fight because he shattered his wrist a week before the fight and just went to the hospital and was not properly treated. To be honest he should not have fought, but he didn't want to bail on the fight and let his fans and promoters down. Now if Ortiz both hands would have been 100% Maidana would have got K.O, He knocked him down with one hand!
