Well they were great. I think the piano might just be for rehersal you know so they have something behind them. My high school chorus did sound like this but only the chamber chorus which was the best of the best. The others were WAAYYYY below this standard. But hey they sound great. :)

Ok well though you can sing your voices dont fit the choir genre as it flutters between choir and theatre. Also that choreography is hirendous it is so cheesy, out of date and looks soooo messy. i would also get rid of that piano, change the song, reorder the choir so the shorter members are at the front and change the chroeographer.

Nick Lechey only helped picked the singers....they were actually directed by Steve Zegree, vocal jazz teacher from Western Michigan University. The clip was filmed at Xavier University in Cincinnati.

Yes sir you right, was filmed at Xavier, BUT Steve does need more credit, Nick was there also , but Steve whipped them into shape. Why wasnt Steve at the show?? Am sure Patti and others had guys like Steve helping them out.

I want Steve,Nick and this choir at the Cintas or Bank ONE arena to do a show, Ill be front and center buying CD,s and whatever. Proud of you guys and what you did for OUR home town, the NATI!!!

It's voice parts that are being played, not accompaniment. It's done so that singers can learn their notes, especially helpful for those who aren't able to read music.

What that person is saying is that the piano is not really meant to sound good. Its not the actual music of the song....its the notes that the singers have to sing, so its helpful to them to stay on pitch.

They had help picking members (two of them were shown on the 1st nite audition pieces), and each group has a "choirmaster" -- they're listed in the show's credits. Team Lachey has the most professional musicians -- Cincy is very culture-rich, especially musically.

I think it sounds good. Very powerful, dynamic, and they're blending very well. It gets a little choppy in spots but that's easily fixed.

The choreography, however, definitely needs some work.

I can't wait to see the first episode!
