  • "NO TAXATION WITHOUT CLARIFICATION"

  • I don't see a debate here, just an opinion

  • [Here is the law: Title 26]

How do laws that allow legal stealing apply to a free people? Ans. By threat of force. Would otherwise be called an armed robber.

HOW CAN THERE BE LAW OR COURTS OF LAW THAT PERMITS LEGAL STEALING & LEGAL SLAVERY?

FORGET LEGAL THIEF ARGUMENTS ITS TIME TO BAND TOGETHER. We need unity not legal arguing.

  • Here is the law: Title 26

    Section 1, imposes the tax

    Section 61 defines Gross income

    Section 63 defines Taxable income.

Section 6012 requires you to file a tax return if you have income of more than the exemption amount, and

Section 6151 requires you to pay the tax at the time and place fixed for the filing of your return.

  • What kind of freedom is that which requires free people to legally pay for anothers dreams, schemes, wants, desires, pleasures, wealth building, failures bailouts & other legal mischief when I cannot force my neighbor to pay for my dreams, schemes...?

HOW CAN THERE BE LAW OR COURTS OF LAW THAT PERMITS LEGAL STEALING & LEGAL SLAVERY?

  • BUTCHERS' UNION CO. v. CRESCENT CITY CO., never overturned

It has been well said that, "The property which every man has

in his own labor, as it is the original foundation of all other

property, so it is the most sacred and inviolable. The patrimony

of the poor man lies in the strength and dexterity of his own

hands, and to hinder his employing this strength and dexterity in

what manner he thinks proper, without injury to his neighbor, is a plain violation of this most sacred property.

  • it's so true what Minns says. maybe Obama will spur reform of the tax system and eliminate all the corruption and clear out the IRS tax gotcha system. taxes should be proportionate to what people make and should not become a burden on any one person or family.

  • Taxes are restricted to impost excises and duties. Direct taxation is the province of the states. A tax on earnings from labor is repugnant to justice and an abomination to Nature and Natures god. The Founders understood this. TV, radio, news papers and all other platforms of political propaganda have clouded our sensibilities. People are as easy to train as mice.

  • that is odd because the US Constitution says the opposite in that any income tax must be apportioned and NOT progressive. It is the communist manifesto that says to pay by ones ability

  • There is no way we can understand the tax code adequately if the IRS cannot understand it themselves.

  • Not sure what to say after seeing these Michael Minns videos...except to say that he's really good at this. I am a believer now. Found his site and books. Very interesting.

  • Michael Minns is saying to stop corruption. I wish all the conspiracy and fear mongers out there would just pay attention to this simple message...clean up corruption, make things transparent in government. Minns' take is actually something every American can stomach, unlike the NWO and CFR heads out there. Stop the corruption, and you kill the seeds of all conspiracies more easily.

  • not really, with such an ignorant population.

  • with a corporate-censored media, and all the marketing gloss on any issue that involves any big profits, of course they're ignorant. being informed doesn't make anyone any money!

  • Michael Minns levels legitimate criticisms against the IRS and Cohen diverts attention away from the issue with cozy anecdotes and goof humor.

  • Interesting how the fade him out as soon as he says the word "corrupt". The IRC is not confusing by accident!

  • ok i get it, flat tax sounds better

  • tax protesters sound a little crazy, but this guy is ok

  • Tax "honesty", sure, but he does not actively encourage people not to pay their income taxes. He's an advocate for reform of the IRS and for the victims of bogus tax shelters and other tax protester groups that leave the gullible consumer in trouble with the law, not tax shelters or the tax protester groups themselves, per se. He is sympathetic with the tax protester movement, however. He is essentially an advocate for the victims. It's a fine line. He also considers the idea of abolishing IRS.

  • So Michael Minns seems to have been for tax honesty for a long time now, before I had even heard of Aaron Russo or Joe Bannister, Michael seems to have been saying this stuff in the major media...

  • Look up Michael Minns or Michael Louis Minns on Google and Amazon...lots of stuff on this guy out there in recent years.

  • Michael Minns has been actively publishing tax law articles, books on fighting the IRS since well before 2000. Minns is doing good work in this areas much like Joe Banister and Ron Paul. Ron Paul even co-authored a book with Minns on the IRS...twice!

  • Brilliant!

  • Okay, so that's why this says RE: Ron Paul...this came from a Ron Paul response.

  • Michael Minns really calls the IRS out here. Nice. Tax code is a mess, perfect setup for corrupt prosecutors for hire who profit off of it by preying on citizens...

  • Ron Paul actually wrote the forward on Michael Minn's book, How to Survive the IRS.
