Haha, I'm not a fan of the way professional dealers like to deal, with the three-down and then sliding them out in one motion, in part because it seems even the best dealers have situations like this sometimes. It's hard doing that, I've tried it a lot. I tend to just quickly deal the three cards in one quick motion one at a time on a flop so they're shown almost immediately at the same time anyway. It's not that hard to learn how to make the dealing motion three times quickly, so I do that.

@missingnote Often a casino, or a state's gaming commission, will have rules saying how a dealer must deal the cards. What you described is often disallowed.

Tuan Le's strategy at final tables is to play really poorly and too aggressively and win. He's a much better player than his WTP wins have shown, actually, but I dislike him for the sole reason that he denounced his opponent as a "suck out artist" (not even true!) when he is such a suck-out himself.

I've seen the whole episode on Youtube before so I went to this hand and went to twodimes to calculate the percentages of those two hands adding all of the cards they folded. Daniel had a jack plus two jacks and a queen was in the muck reducing the straight potential. So with a dead jack and no dead 9s or 8s the KJ is a 54/45 favorite.
