I've been watching the Pro Rally series for 20 years. "Real cars on real roads going real(ly) fast" is true and so is the ad! Karl used some rally Golf components on an otherwise stock New Beetle and drove that car HARD! He came up a winner. I probably have some clips on old 8mm videotape some where of the car at STPR.
Mine rolled into an industrial steel overhead door once. Only scratch on the bug was the front license plate mount (plastic). The OH. door was bent in 6" and had to be pulled straight! Damn night it's tough! :)

its a good car, the mechanics are actually from the Golf Mk4 so its very good...
