There seems to be some sort of conspiracy with couriers to demolish pretty-looking case-boxes. The plain-looking one here arrived in perfect condition!
Nah, I'm not being serious, but it's an odd coincidence. Maybe the courier in charge of that delivery was just much more competent.
I really hope he reviews the radeon 5830. I've holding off on buying a DX11 that has a good price and sufficient performance. It's just a re-badged 4890 with DX11, but I could care less because I only have a 8800GT. I plan on buying a 5830 and using my 8800GT as a Physx card.
Yea I know they did, but If you use older or cracked drivers you can re-enable the Physx with ATI. I heard ATI+Dedicated Physx Card configurations outperform NVidia+Physx Card configuration.
You should wait a bit until the nvidia dx11 cards come out. The prices will definitely drop when the competition is on. Then, you can pick either an ATi or a Nvidia card based on price/performance.
Re-read my comment. By the time the competition in dx11 cards hits, there might be a better card for the price, or the card you want might be lower than $200.
Man, I hate those shield with the easy to break ground connections. My old MB came with one but the new MB I have uses a metalic padding that not only world better but it keeps out the dust.
Dude, stop describing the stupid box and packaging material I think any idiot knows what that is.

Did anyone else wish the case was demolished on the outside.. so 3Dgameman would have a mini tantrum?
Only reason I watch case unboxings.. to hear Rodney scold the courier companies ! :)

i think you have to explain what thise sff cases are for, clearly some people commenting thinks everything is for gaming.

I don't really digg these SFF cases. I prefer the full sized ATX or Micro-ATX.
By the way, are you going to review the HIS Radeon 5830 and HIS Radeon 5870 iCooler V? I've noticed that HIS often sponsors 3dGameMan ;)

i think nvidia has stopped allowing ati cards to work alongside theirs for physx.

why do you want this product?? what is it good for rodney?
Diamondus123 1 year ago
It's a HTPC case for locations like the living room where you don't want a small PC that can easily be hidden.
