  • do you have birds in the gym?

  • I hear and feel a click on the inside part of my elbow where the bicep connects to the forearm. Why is this?

  • @Body4Beach does it cause you pain?o to a dco. it doesnt? ignore it

  • @Body4Beach I have the same exact thing on my left arm. Finally somebody else who has the same problem. It drives me nuts when I'm lifting weights.

  • @Body4Beach For me, as I got stronger, the click went away, if the area that it clicks on starts to hurt, give it a rest for the day, then next session do a lighter weight. Gradually increase.

  • skiny !

  • Which muscle(s) do you train with this?

  • I prefer Hatebreed, but bird noises are great, too ....

  • lol at the birds chirping.

  • deutsche kartofel

  • This is the only forearm exercise I do, as most upper body workouts indirectly work your forearms anyway.

  • very good execution

  • My wrists hurt when i do them reverse...

  • @KISSfanswe

that's the point, you'll get stronger wrist +grip by doing this.

  • yess i know that now. I've done my studying :P

  • @KISSfanswe i have that same problem sometimes. make sure you grip tight and keep your wrists straight. sometimes you have to adjust your grip on the ez curl bar to keep them straight. although, you could use an angled grip to build forearm strength, i think it better to just focus on the bicep with this exercise. don't want to stress the wrists too much

  • In Arnold's book, it says that reverse curls are used for biceps as well as forearms, and with the forearms to make sure you're pointing the back of your hands as far back as can be. My question is, does doing reverse curls for forearms need to be with a lighter weight than reverse curls for biceps?

  • Holding your wrist bent by extending your wrists back isn't necessary to develop the brachioradialis. The isometric contraction of just holding the barbell with a straight wrist is enough.

You don't have to go any lighter either.

  • The Brachioradialis Starts mid way of your Bicep and continues down your forearm. Reverse curls and Hammer curls dominate that muscle. Do as much weight as you can.

  • @kirrabeachbum When you do a reverse curl you use your biceps more, where as a reverse wrist curl, you isolate the forearm.

  • @kirrabeachbum It's up to your muscles to decide the weight. The first time I did reverse curls I could only do about 15kg totaly weight, while I was doing nearly 30kg normally.
