it isn't.. you will have more mission, less repetitive. Day and night cycle, a money system, a notorious system. And many more :P I wouldn't call that almost the same =] I already pre-ordered it.

I was actually pretty happy to find out that the game will take place in Italy. If Assassin's Creed 2 were to take place in Japan like the rumors suggested then well, that would really just be unoriginal. I also love the idea of Da vinci's flying machine. Also in the newest issue of Gameinformer they have a side by side comparison of various locations in Italy in real life and in the game. The locations are very accurate. Also it's been confirmed that AS2 takes place in 1476.

Desmond is in the sequel, but dunno if Nolan North will be voicing him through. Desmond is from Ezio's sperm, and last we left him of, in AC1 he was still Abstergo's prisoner (or what they called themselves)

Its going to be funny if there is a possibilty to sneak around the buildings and take out some of those scumbag new age templars
