I did my basic here in 1998--1/4 Platoon Warlords. I love the second part of this video. Brings back memories of a DI we had named "Erik Penn". Who was about 5'6 but meaner than hell. He ended up being DI of the cycle. Great video!

3rd platoon outlaws baby. I'd do it again if i could be with DS Cooper, DS Edgar and DS Gaitan. I will never forget those days. To all the guys in 3rd and 2nd platoon, we did a damn good job.

I wasn't in this battery. I was in Charlie 1st/40 at Ft. Sill. Man, oh man. I don't miss it on bit. I don't envy the Drill Sergeants one bit.  My DS were pretty cool guys the weeks leading up to graduation. I don't miss the yelling the PT, but if I had to do again, I would in heartbeat. Hell, I do it again just for the fun it. Don't miss the gas chamber though
