East Prussia was a phenomenon created by the 13th-14th century German crusader colonization of the Baltic "Pruzzen" tribe (southern cousins of the Lithuanians) in the land that later became East Prussia. Between 1945-49 over 95% of the original Germanized population was expelled - the northern half is now Russian Kaliningrad province, the southern is now the Polish Musurski Province. This march was composed by an SS Obersturmbannfuerher called Gustav Adolf Bunge (1885-1968).
