its hilarious so many people DONT understand the meaning of beta and pre order bonusses ....

oh well... The beta as it stands now is pretty decent, performance wise it needs a few tweaks but the tire model as it is implemented atm is fairly decent, its good to have a decent physics model for a change, and yes iracing is probably better, BUT it better be for the amount it costs

therefore in terms of costs vs quality ==> Rfactor > iracing

I've played every sim from GPL to iRacing,rFactor,Netkar, LFS, CARS and plenty of others. Everything has become fragmented and mediocre in recent years especially since the community is so small to begin with.

@ComicPenius no doubt sim racing is a niche market, no doubt in my mind, but i'm saying, as a game developer of a serious sim such as rFactor 2, being that it's in beta, i'd rather have realistic physics over animated pit crew, pit crew animation and other eye candy should be on the polishing list before the game gets shipped

@tjbayliss considering Project cars only costs about $10 which is just over £6 for the beta alone. it's kind of redundant to change full price for the game when it's not even a full product yet.

This looks rather disappointing, a huge fan of rFactor, but come on, this is just an upgraded graphics version of the first, with animated hands... shocking..... You can get pretty much the same product by adding the hdr mod....

@NeXtGenRacer they reworked their physics model and added a tire deformation model with contact patch information and advanced readouts. The cars feel much more lifelike. and the game is still in beta as in non finished product. so the graphics can only be improved + Sim racing isnt about graphics thou, the most important thing is the physics and tire model + ffb readouts. And tbh they nailed it pretty good. remember its BETA ;)

@NeXtGenRacer +1, it's stupid, nothing changed, all they did was add support for 900 degree steering and it's still using the same physics engine from F1 challenge, not even touching the code from the sucessfull (and very fun, i might add) GTR franchise. and SIMBIN IS WORKING ON RF2 kind of pathetic if you ask me, and animated hands, yeah, stupid, 60% of most sim racers have an external wheel of some sort, animated hands make it look to much of an arcade game.

@streetfighterzpl the codemasters team made 1 game in 1 year and isi cant make the crew get hell out of there.OK i understand that is B.E.T.A but when we talk about I.S.I and rf2 project the level that we must put it is very high.I purchase the mod and i want ISI to wade the things better. I am waiting see that in the near future.
