  • Oh my french fry god.... Toyotas rules! :)

  • lol i cant believe that jeep isnt rubbing on those tires lol..it looks like they barely fit

  • toyotas and jeeps both are great .. my brother in law has an 88 xj 6 inch long arm and my sister has a 96 wj grand cherokee 5 inch lift and i got a 1981 toyota 6 inch lift 35s with a 22r and they all both take beating in the moses lake WA sand dunes

  • My tacoma surges when I drive it so bad that Im afraid it's gonna cause me to crash into someone, I have been to 4 dealers in my area and they all say the surging is normal. How the fuck is this normal? can anyone tell me how to fix this?

  • Toyota's rule. I've owned 2, and am closing on my 3rd toyota today. Their extremely dependable, and I've pulled more then my share of jeeps out of some sticky situations. Never needed a tow in either of my yoda's. Gotten myself stuck once or twice, but always managed to get through it without a hook up. Toyota's all the way.

  • the jeep looks lowered

  • 1:03 looks like a caravan

  • that is some insane wheeling, amazing what those trucks will do WOW

  • I see OR plates... kinda looks like either Clatsop or TSF.... yes? Old stompin grounds :)

  • Put my mildly modded WJ up against that toyota... Toyota wont make it any where near the places my jeep will... Toyotas dont articulate as well as jeeps. more tires on the ground over obstacles=better for off road....

  • also without tons of modification the toyota won't get anywhere near the approach angles my jeep can.

  • DOES THAT YOTA HAVE THE TRD PACKAGE CAUSE IT DIDNT APPEAR TO AND NO REAR LOCKER? OTHERWISE NICE TRUCK.

  • looks like a mini van from the back

  • those jeep are so gay they look like a mini van from the back

  • @ZzoldpeopleburningzZ

A Dana 35 is not very strong, and most Jeepers are well aware of this fact. Jeeps have their merits. Iconic look, convertible, quite tough, plenty of power with the excellent 4.0L, aftermarket support... but they are not overbuilt they way that old Toyotas are. Stock for stock, and $ per $, a Toyota is going to go farther, carry more more comfortably, burn less gas, and break down less. Just facts. There are plenty of Jeepers that can concede this and still prefer Jeeps.

  • @wilshire1983 I couldn't agree more. Then again I own an '01 4Runner

  • @wilshire1983 well said mate i totally agree,i have an 80 series cruiser which still has no interior rattles so goes to show quality by toyota for sure but still have respect for jeep and nissan and any other 4x4 brand name, except HUMMER,honestly im an aussie and im sorry to say but they are ugly and waaaaay over priced for what off road kit and grit you recieve

  • the jeep good but i rather have the toyota over that anyday......

  • that aint a jeep git a willys cj or mb thats a jeep

  • Fuck that

  • its not a true comparison. the jeep is a wanna be jeep. a really jeep is a wrangler

  • Old Toyotas don't need a lift and an axle swap to fit and safely run 33's. Most Wranglers do.

  • @wilshire1983

I'm a Toyota guy myself, but you're wrong. A Wrangler doesn't need an axle swap because it already has a solid axle... And just out of curiosity, if your wheeling a IFS Yota hard, how often are you replacing axles because of bad CV joints...

  • @toyotaecw

My point was that the Dana 35/30 combo is pretty flimsy and has to be swapped out before its axles will be as strong as a Yota's or to be capable of safely running the tires a stock Toyota can. Like most things between the vehicles, Wranglers are adequate, Toyota's are overbuilt.. Get an old Toyota, put 33 inch tires on it, lock and regear, and maybe swap in the rear springs from a Chevy. Now figure how much more expensive and involved it is to get a Wrangler to a comparable state.

  • The winner is Toyota. Duh. For the argument of the Jeep being an SUV, than go grab a 4Runner itll do the same as the Tacoma: Dragging the JEEP out.

  • @passngas2 so 4Runner will do more then jeep?

  • ive done more than yall in my tacoma prerunner.. 2wd....

  • @hillbillyrawkstar91 so you have did more in your prerunner the whats in this video?

  • next time white balance the camera and get rid of those horrible blow outs.

  • @DylanSensFan ill just send the video to you so you can edit it.

  • It's all about preference, I have had two Wranglers and an XJ, Now I have a Toyota pickup extra cab with SAS, I loved all of them, neither brand sucks, I went with Toyota because I was doing harder trails, and I wanted the stronger Toyota axles for 35's, and I wanted a truck bed to put crap in!! But I like Jeeps too.

  • @theninja001 yesir

  • put a lift on that jeep

  • @jeepscometrue send me money

  • hey is your jeep v8 or v6

  • @390fusion 8

  • i made it through that pussy shit you call off road in a ford taurus

  • @toccowithbeans where is this at?

  • i just watched this to read the dumb comments between people

  • @Quadrophenia01 nothing but haters

  • SHIT

  • A stock Toyota pre-1995 Pickup or 4Runner, particularly a pre-1986, will do better than a stock Wrangler. I have a stock Toyota pickup and all the Jeep guys I wheel with tell me this. On a performance-per-dollar-spent-on-mods basis, the Toyota also wins.

The Jeep has the convertible thing going for it, the iconic styling, and the short wheelbase. It also has more power. Chicks dig it.

The Toyota is more reliable, gets better fuel economy, and is cheaper to build up.

  • @wilshire1983 have you ever built a jeep?

  • oh and for all you guys saying "wranglers are so tough" have you even seen an axle on them? very thin, go look at an fj 40's axle, its the same thickness as a D70, yes, a DANA 70 axle. the only difference? offset pumpkin and dana has disc breaks instead of drums. i know my shit, reply if you want, ill prove you wrong even more.

  • @sebastianholmes94 people are retarded, they just want to put in there 2 cents

  • okay guys here we go

Jeep: Solid front axle, low sitting, requires large lift for any tire worth offroading.

Toyota: 1985 and newer have IFS(indpendent fron suspension), that toyota is stock height with what seems to be 31' tires, you jeep guys need a 4 incher to clear those, toyotas can get on 33's with a hammer to the fender, for everyone saying the Taco is in 2wd no youre wrong, theres this thing called limited slip differential. the wheel on the other side is spinning.Damn idiots do resrch

  • @sebastianholmes94 i have an 87 xj stock you can fit 31s with fender work you can fit 35s with stock tires and the I6 and the 5 speed i was getting 26 mpg the toyota 22re only gets 24, and with the FJ40 its the same diameter as the D60 not the D70 but the ring and pinion is equal to the D44 (i guess they dont need strength if they engine barely puts out 200 hp) with a 4 inch lift (200 dollars toyota needs 500 for 3 inch lift and its not a spacer lift its a full spring replacement)

  • @tigrcky i can add 35s with no chopping needed, and gears are way cheaper to replace (i was able to get 4.88s with front and rear lockers for 900) and with the 4.88 change i still get 20 mpg the toyota v6 (which is a great deal weaker then the jeep I6) only gets 18 with 4.10 gears. fact is stock jeep with same size tires do better then toyotas also the I6 lasts 350k miles before needing rebuild

  • @tigrcky you have seen the axles side by side, in person? doubt it. who needs 999999 horsepower to rock crawl at 1mph?? its all about gear ratios retard. im not really sure where you get you prices for lift, and im sure youre looking at an IFS toyota instead of a SFA one which is where you get the price difference. a stock toyota with the same size tires as a stock jeep would look silly, and hows your d30 front axle holding up? especially locked on 35's?

  • @sebastianholmes94 im a 15 year ase master tech so yeah i have and gear ratios yes i know, and the d30 its doing fine only idiots who dont know how to wheel snap those axles and as far as 999,999 hp hahha sure ok how about you come back with some real facts and pull your head out of your egos ass and stop being a douche, just because you cant handle cold hard facts. i have also seen the FJ40s snap under the pressure of 33s so toyota plan sucks sorry to make you cry

  • @sebastianholmes94 toyota-lifted

  • it depends on the tires

  • We sure enjoyed your korn powers

  • TOYOTA for the win!!!

  • normally the guy who is supposed to be pulling you out of the mudhole shouldnt be dragged around by the guy who is stuck in the mud...thats what i saw when the jeep was stuck anyways...lol

  • i can't decide. i used to own a 4x4 hilux and is was fantastic off road. i sold it and i now have a jeep wrangler TJ 4 inch lift with 33's. the hilux had 32's on a 3 inch. from my experience. the jeep is more rigid and can take a harder beating. but the hilux performed better offroad. at least in my experience. much more flex and at the same time less tippy. it was also much more forgiving when you just lay into it i love my jeep but when im on the trail i somtimes miss the yota.

  • personally I'm a jeep guy (owner of an 03 tj and 96 xj) both rage harder than anything else I'VE driven but It doesn't matter what you got if you get stuck I'll pull you out and if I get stuck I'd expect the same. It doesn't matter what you got as long as its 4x4 just get out there and have fun

  • @lonegunman69 I have a stock yota, it's got lots of puling power, as long as the back's loaded with barbecue stuff, beers and tools for my buddy's jeeps ! It's too long for very rough conditions though but it's pulled a lot of friends out.

  • @lonegunman69 Agree. thanks for that man, you dont see alot of people like you in this world, i have a lifted jeep and toyota, i got stuck in some deep shit and a whole group of people drove past laughing and throwin shit at my rigs, i was ready for them to come back with my gun loaded. like its fucked when people do that shit. but hey i had fun

  • @lonegunman69 true that man. i got a 94 wranger =D about to lift it in the coming mounth.

  • @lonegunman69

here here. i have a '10 frontier pro4x, it's my preference. almost any rig can get you where you want if you drive it right.

  • jeep made a mistake selling to chrysler.....looks like a damn minivan from the back....so upsetting

  • Comment removed

  • A Toyota Tacoma is the only truck I would ever off road.

  • @grahamzandah maybe if you like rusty frames. I can't even count on both hands how recalls for rust that truck has.

  • @NitroGadvRules Yeah I spose. But its better than one of those giant ass Ford trucks. Either way Jeep still wins.

  • The Wrangler is made for that kind of off-roading, not the Cherokee. However, the Cherokee did very well. The new Cherokee Sport will fair well on trails.

  • maybe you should get some more hardcore stuff to test them on.. looks like one of those disabled person scooters could navigate this trail.

  • jeep all the way, even though its a shitty stock one

  • Not a fair comparison for off road. 2WD Toyota vs. 4WD Jeep

  • @gonzotxmx if you havent realized, pretty much all jeeps are 4wd. that's part of the comparison. what would be unfair, is if they both had it, and one was turned off. but as a stock comparison, this is completely fair.

  • I have a grand cherokee that I bought for $250 and then fixed it up. It's got just over 210,000 miles and still going strong.

  • idk why but i have never been a fan of the grand cherokee...i have always jus liked the regular cherokees...but anyways nice vid....check out mine and tell me what u think?

  • I don't quite understand why there has to be a fued between Toyotas and Jeeps. Both have their strong points and week points depending on the model that's being talked about. From a Jeep owner, I've heard, H3s do better than H1s and H2s, as far as flexing and off camber situations. But, I'm not going to be buying one anytime soon. I couldn't afford the payments and gas together. I've already got a '04 Tacoma and an '87 4Runner to take care of.

  • @KnightWolf84 That's probably because H3s are underpowered piece of shit Hummer wannabes.

  • @supreme2005 All I'm saying is what I've heard about H3s from a Jeep TJ owner. I'm not siding with Jeep or Hummer at this point. Don't get me wrong, I like certain models of Jeeps. However, I'll probably never buy one cause the fact of the matter is...EVERYONE has one especially in the off road world.

  • good vid gotta love gettin stuck!

  • WOOOOOOOOO GRAND CHEROKEE!!!!!!

  • Jeeps and Toys rule! I have been around them for a long time. H3 can't hold a candle to them. A H3 is just a darn Trail blazer. Get a 4x4 Yukon and have something that looks worth a damn.

  • wheelin in mommys jeep?

  • toyota is the best

  • that jeep is a pretty capable mini van

  • toyota in offroad get stuck like toyota's pedal

Toyota try to be Jeep but they didn't have sucess.

They created the FJ also know as Fake Jeep

  • FJ was created as a farm tractor on left over Jeep Chassis' during the Korean war at Toyota's plant. I have a Jeep but an FJ is by no means a "fake" Jeep. Toyotas are very capable, great off-road vehicles. You're just too stupid to realize anything otherwise.

  • that tacoma kick that jeeps ass easily

  • There's a big difference between wheeling something stock, and something that has aftermarket/other parts on it. For instance my ZJ is built Jeep tough with Chevy stuff. It's a ZJ body, but the axles, suspension, armor, etc are far from stock. Bashing one auto maker because how something performs stock is ignorant. That being said, obviously these two vehicles were built to do two COMPLETELY different things, and will obviously perform better in different siutations.

  • actualy i had jeep, piece of junk and couple my friend have cheep too and had just problems with that.

  • Wow... ask pretty much anyone who has a jeep. They love them. There are always exceptions, however.

That being said, Toyota is also a great brand.

  • @vonfeldt7 fuck ya jeeps for life man

    0{}{}{}{}0

  • isn't toyota facing major recalls due to people dying in their unsafe vehicles?

  • you know they are and u know y? cuz the gas peddal gets caught on the floor mat stupid ass americans dont know how to help themselvs to they wreck and besides that these so called recalled toyotas are now put to together in america now

  • lol yeah, well america sucks..and i didn't say they weren't made there, and the throttle isn't the only thing wrong, it's also the braking systems, and the steering racks

  • and obviously your english is crap as well. and thats funny you say jeeps are pieces of crap...do some research before you flap your ignorant mouth. my stock WJ will go places a stock yota wouldnt think of going...

  • this is a grand cherokee which is a ZJ not a xj, XJ is the original cherokee like my 97 cherokee sport

  • i didnt see a jeep in this vid...i saw a wanna be...who the fuck takes a cherokee offroad they are for fuckin old people..get a wrangler or an xj

  • The fuck you think an XJ is?

  • hell yeah an xj is...stock on stock the xj is better than a wrangler offroad..and u can do just as much to an xj that u can to a wrangler

  • A cherokee is an xj, way to embarrass yourself. lulz.

  • no shit an xj is a cherokee

  • retard, a xj is a cherokee. what you saw in the video was a grand cherokee wich is also called a wj. so learn your jeeps before you try to talk shit about them

  • i know my jeeps jack ass there is a huge difference between the grand cherokee and the cherokee..your probably one of those fags that drive the grand arent you?

grand cherokee's suck ass offroad..well and on the road for that matter they are usless...its not even a jeep..now the xj is completly different and much more capable offroad and is in the top 10 for the most realiable and best all around vehicle ever made

  • you have no idea what your talking about...why would a grand do worse offroad? in fact a grand WJ has 4 wheel coil spring suspension letting it flex like a mother fucker...even stock, second- they carry the same 4x4 system (selec-trac), third- they have almost the same wheel base(grands are about three inches longer),grands were made with a uniframe- stronger than the XJ body on frame but very similar design, made with the same motors(4.0)but grands produced the V8 as well. learn your facts...

  • jeep wins :)

  • I would challenge any Tojo. They would all break before they got half the distance the mighty Rubi gets to

  • si metes esa jeep en el fun race 4x4 en VENEZUELA llega con en volante a su casa.

  • are those 31x10.5's on the tacoma?

  • toyota ftw

  • lol funny

  • Comment removed

  • i guess if you say so.... it(your gay 3) would also eat a whole gas station.

  • @JDMDC211 ha i agree but ya know Toyota and jeep get much better crash test ratings then the H3 so he better hope like hell he dont have an accident. we dont have to worry about it that much cuz Toyota gets the best

  • @JDMDC211 hahaha lol

  • @MrMichael1701 h3s are fag wagons. how many dicks did you suck to buy that oversized piece of shit? My Jeep TJ would can go anywhere your h3 can and then some.

  • Comment removed

  • @MrMichael1701 haha yeah maybe eat the toyota alive not jeeps, if u think a hummer can beat a jeep off road look at this vid im gonna send you and tell me what u think.

  • @MrMichael1701 h3s only eat wallets and pavement. jeeps and dirt are not part of theyre regular diet.

  • Comment removed

  • @MrMichael1701 pickups definitely make a better work horse. i will admit that. jeeps have shit trunk space too. i just hate when pickup owners say theyre trucks are better offroaders. jeeps have a smaller wheelbase designed to tackle steep hills that a truck would get stuck on. plus ive see videos of jeeps beating trucks in tug of war. whats your opinion on offroading?

  • Comment removed

  • @aeropostalbaby1

my opinion is that with their short wheelbase, jeeps get a bit freeky on hillclimbs. My truck, at 110 inch wheelbase, is about right. Still good breakover but not so damn scary on hills. Is my truck better than a Jeep? In some instances yes, others no. They can breakover stuff and get in tight areas. BUT, I can keep up in most areas, and go further in others. I've pulled Jeeps out, never had to be pulled out by one yet.

  • @MrMichael1701 ajajajajaja Hummer? buddy you really think because the H1 is a great 4x4 the H2 and H3 are also, jajajaja you're wrong. I am tired of seeing those things break with the simplest terrain. There is no way that now Im gonna have to listen to Hummers talking shit like JEEPERS, you cannot compare the H2 and H3 with any 4x4, no matter what any Hummer owner says.

  • Comment removed

  • theres another video on here with a tacoma vs h3 vs fj cruiser....the tacoma kicked both they asses. if your gonna own a hummer own the original.

  • @MrMichael1701 LOL! I literaly laughed out loud at the idea of H3 out performing ANYTHING.

  • @MrMichael1701 Well im glad your enjoying your chevy tahoe.

  • @MrMichael1701 H3? You do know that's a glorified mini van right?

  • @MrMichael1701 yeah your H3 would eat the jeep or tacoma alive when poaching a handicap parking spot at the mall

  • @cashmab SO LOL!!! AHAHAHAHAHA!!!

  • boring...

  • no one made you watch it

  • Those jeeps are gay. I would only take a wrangler off road.

  • right on, your gay too.

  • I assume you drove the jeep?

  • nope

  • if the only jeep you would only take off road is a wrangler, your retarted.

  • well what else is good. I had a not so good experience in a Cherokee lol

  • lets just clarify. do u mean grand cherokee or cherokee cuz i could understand y in a grand cherokee. the regular cherokee is actually better for off roading than wranglers becuz of the suspension and the fact that they actually have an engine..

  • Comment removed

  • @MrMichael1701 hey moron when did I say I owned an FJ? Toyotas suck. ford: Found On Roadside Dead. fuck you and everything you have and stand for.

  • Comment removed

  • @MrMichael1701 Really? As someone who think Ford's Super Duty is hands down the best 3/4 truck out there I can only respectfully disagree. Not even talking about the poor approach and departure of trucks, the breakover angles of trucks are their true short-coming. On a slightly lifted WJ jeep like the one in this video I see a 27° breakover angle. If I had to guess, I bet you'd have to lift an F250 like 7 inches to achieve such a result.

  • @lonegunman69 As a FORD 4x4 enthusiast (84 4x4 f150 8in sus lift 37in Iroks, soon to be Boggers) PLEASE use the acronym correctly. Its Found Off Road Dead ass. I wont break down on my way to the mud! I trailer. If it helps I pulled out a rubi with about 7k worth of work done to it with my stock 95 4x4 2door Tahoe. But to be fair his jeep was for Rocks And the bfg Krawlers dig like hell in the mud.

  • @MrMichael1701 Drive an FZJ-80 and experience a REAL off-road vehicle, not a tow rig. Think you can "out mud" an 80? I'll smoke any pickup in any terrain.

  • my toyota shits on jeeps

  • haha mine to except the blazer it ate gave it the shits

  • A comparison means they are of a similar class.

  • need to compare to a wrangler

  • getta real jeep!!!

    wranglers all the way!!!

  • lol

  • the price of something has nothing to do with how it performs if you ask me.

  • of course it does

  • @JDMDC211 Definitely. Compare the cost of Liberties to their performance: terrible!

  • @CRDLIBERTY Grands are fine off-road and best yet they are cheap to mod. For under 1k you can get a budget lift that will allow you to do a lot more than a stock grand. If you dont think Grands can off road than type this into the youtube search box. "gsw the pickel".

  • Love that song and this fool needs to go get a wrangler

  • jeep le ace los mandados a toyota...

  • claro ke no

  • what tires are on the taco, and how much lift?

  • la toyota sta mas preparada.. mjors caucho, sta levantada,etc..

  • And by the way, the first song is "Yall Want A Single" by Korn

  • Ok. I own a 94 Grand Cherokee 318 with the quadra-trac. I am in school with several guys who own fords, one with a 74 driven by a 351 modified, sitting on 38's. He and I agree, fords are the way to go when it comes to deep mud, they have the weight advantage, as well as stronger base suspension to build off of. But my ZJ has better 4x4 WHEN IT COMES TO TURNS. Nothin against Toyota, he owns one of them too and loves it. But Ford vs Jeep on a trail...Jeep all the way. But for heavier stuff, ford!!

  • jeep FTW

whats the first song in this vid?

  • what song?

  • Yall Want A Single

  • You couldn't GIVE me a Jeep Cherokee

  • Well thats a Grand Cherokee, the old XJ's are better offroad than any wrangler because they have a longer wheel base (stock Wrangler comparison)

  • thats good cuz i wouldnt ;)

  • thats good cuz i wont.

  • Richie thank you soo much. finally someone on youtube who knows SOMETHING about jeeps..

  • Comment removed

  • asi se demuestra el poder de los motores

  • FUCK YEA!!

  • Comment removed

  • still, nothin beats the 70's f150/f250's specially for offroading

  • you mean for swaping the axles to a jeep? yeah your right taking the D44s of a useless ford and putting them under the jeep is the way to go.
