Another runway would be the destruction of a large area of open space in west London and the destruction of hundreds of homes. It would also cause massive congestion on surrounding roads and greatly increase noise and pollution.
@mortonhill, Pollution and noise? That is bul***** , don't you even know more airlines are purchasing new aircrafts which are more fuel efficient. have heard of the Boeing 747-8, 787, Boeing 777-300ER or airbus a380's?
why dont these protestors just get lost cos a another runway isnt gonna cause more pollution it just means that ques to the runway arent gonna be so long
