  • I posted on their other vid "I didn't know Freddy Mercury had a son."

And I'll be damned, Brian May is in the crowd! Queens next singer? Maybe they can tour with him instead of Paul Rodgers...

  • @LarryFahn No way! Scissor Sisters is timeless and forever!

  • I think Brian May (of Queen) was in the audience thinking, "Freddy would have done a song like this had we let him." Great band.

  • theres nothing homosexual about this that pink bird was MASCULEN

  • saw them in brighton and got to be on their dvd (blowing bubbles) They will allways be close to my heart xxx

  • Hm, Brian May in the audience.

It's a very good song, relaxed and jazzy.

  • @luneproducts Ha! He looked so not impressed by the whole thing.

  • @elroyblackbean Yeah, it kinda looked like he was not so sure about them. But I actually think this is a pretty good band, plus I am a huge fan of Queen (have all the albums, etc), so Brian has to agree with me somewhere. :)

  • Is that Jimmy Page at 1:08?

  • Brian May, I think.

  • @marceeee22

    Thank you

  • @marceeee22 May for sure. Was that Roger Taylor a second before him?

  • @LarryFahn I don't know. Looks like. Not for sure.

  • @marceeee22 it looked like Simon Pegg to me

  • This might be another performance, but they did this same routine on the BAFTA Awards a couple of years ago and this looks just like that performance. Jake (Jason) claims to have always wanted to perform with the Muppets. Hence the singing watermelons, barn, eggs, chickens, etc. Cute. Love these guys. Great music, nasty band members - not here, of course. Thanks for posting.

  • Cool performance!!!! I almost fell out of my chair when i saw the watermelons singing.

  • i guess this is what Sodom and Gomorrah must have been like.

  • @goodsz24 yeah. pure make-believe

  • @jonysay this is the Brit Awards Show 2005. Gay as fuck but I reckon its awesome!

  • 2004 i think

  • this is so camp I love it. no wonder scissor sisters are so big in europe:)

  • Is he trying to outcamp Freddie Mercury? Nearly working! Nice chest!

  • wow, i never heard anybody "do" elton john so perfectly...

  • alos, the guitar solo sounds like mick ronson on an amphetemine jag.

  • he looks diffrent in the I dont feel like dancin

  • Schwizer Fernseh, uii das sind no zittä gsi xDD

  • dude can sing!!!... DAMN IT! ...got a little bromance with him and the incubus guy! Ha

  • The singer dude reminds me of Kevin Barnes sometimes :P

  • This song sounds a bit like Riki Tiki Tavi by Donovan.

  • yeah they did better here in the uk,good music is good music fact,i like em,

  • simon pegg's face really just kills me. the sisters rock, my ban loves to cover this song, but it is impossible to hit those high falsettos like he does, just a really groovy song

  • i remember when this came out music was good back then

  • agree with u guys behrooz was awesome

  • Behrouz did it better than original song on X Factor 2009

  • behrous RULLZ!! \m/

  • I love the scissor sisters ! I hope the rumours about them making a comeback next year are true !

  • reminds me so much of elton john, not in terms of sexuality but just the vocal styling and the groove of the song

  • i totally agree.sounds alot like elton john.and thats a good thing

  • Yes. It´s sounds like Rock of the westies.

  • well, I'm pretty suer they're on par with him regarding the sexuality too...

as I was listening to this I thought "how cool would it be if they had him do a cameo duet with them in concert sometime?" that would be awesome

  • ngl, this is my life's soundtrack

  • Brian May approves!

  • hahahahahah! wikedddd dudes!!!!

    hahahahah!

  • Was that Brian May of Queen that they cut to in the audience? This guy is totally the reincarnation of Freddie Mercury, so it would make sense...

  • 1:08...totally looks like him. i think you're probably right.

  • Seriously, this is the only time I've ever seen someone truly challenge The Flaming Lips for the best live show award.

  • thnx tis is wicked entertaining. god, this is good!!!!

  • Awesome!!! ;D

  • Love the song, Although does seem like someone has been on the shrooms.

  • the singin barn is wicked

  • Im not gonna lie this is a very interesting stage performance. I really enjoy it

  • Hahaha, Brian May seems to be enjoying himself.

  • OH EM GEE!! The Singing watermelons are off the hook! Jake Shears is SEXY, I wish I could marry him

  • My god.

This is the contents of my head.

This is THE BEST LIVE PERFOMANCE I HAVE EVER SEEN.

  • Its like the muppets, only they're humans!

  • I like the melons ^^

  • scissor sisters are gaytastic......and i mean that in a totally kickass way. and i'm a totally straight guy from arkansas.

i can't believe someone wouldn't like this because they think its too "gay" sounding.

  • GOOD clip.best

  • I've never taken a hallucinogenic (yet!), but this performance makes me feel like I have. It's great, lively, colorful--and totally bizarre. I like it, though. It's a music video performed live.

  • soo cool...))))

  • there from america aint they

  • This is, without question, one of the most amazing things I have ever seen.

  • they are humans, just prefer the same sex.

youu shouldnt have a reason to fuss with that unless they confront you with it.

as far as i know, homosexuals still cant have children, so let em be

  • fifa 2005 xD great tune

  • can't stop singing it XD

  • I love this song so much and this performance is easily one of their best!

  • One of my favorite songs, makes me wanna get up & dance!!

  • i was in a crowded pizza shop in carlton, melbourne when this tune came on the radio. every1 in the shop started singing and jiving around. fuck it was cool.. at the end they all cheered and clapped. what a moment lol

  • awesome video again, wonder what stadium its in

    ?

  • A friend and I have rehearsed this for an acoustic jam night as a folk venue. They will not know what has hit them! A pentatonic solo in A# minor goes lovely over the chorus chords.

  • jake is hot

  • i heard this only 1x while i was walkin the track at ballys health club. i think it was 2003. i could ve sworn i heard this when i was a kid in the 70s. bt i was wrong. it was made in the 90s.

  • Actually Paul, there was a song from the mid to late 70's that had a very similar chorus line. I can hear it in my head, and can hum it with this song. It had some different notes and pauses, but it was very similar in style and tune. The words escape me unfortunately. It wasn't Geo Michael either, it was before his time.

Hopefully I will remember at some point and post it.

  • yeah, its fuckin me up too. bt it may be from either doctor john or elton john.

  • Musically, this song reminds me a lot of "Sweet City Woman" by the Stampeders..maybe that's the one you're thinking of

  • Yup, at least in part.

I believe that this reminds me of "Sweet City Woman" if it were mixed in with another '70's tune that is hovering in the back of my head (yet unidentified)...and this hybrid was sung by Elton John, then that would be it.

Thanks for solving (at least part of) the mystery for me. "Sweet City Woman" was indeed one of the songs that was coming to mind.

  • im an old fart. if im nt mistaken...ths song is old...as in old...not from the 90 s. someone correct me on ths if im wrong.

  • No, its an original.

  • then im wrong. i thought this was someth from the 70s. my bad.

  • im not surprised that george michaels stole ths for tht song tht goes "freedom yeah freedom'' .

  • i thought this was by elton john...no wonder i could nt find it.

  • its Like Jim Henson & Elton John on Ecstacy...

  • I love the watermelons singing LOL that's so cooL!!

  • that would be like the most happy concert ever

    wish i was there!

  • Great :D

  • it´s a great video and is too fun
