I don't know how you went down, but I imagine the frame sliders is what ruined your bike. Those aren't stock on the 250r, they're aftermarket. I've read from many experienced riders on forums.ninja250.org that frame sliders (on a 250r) tend to act like a pole vault when the bike goes down causing it to flip end over end instead of just sliding and ruining the plastics/muffler on one side. I've only put 12,000 miles on my '06 Ninja 250r so far. Never dropped, never gone down on my own. I did ge

man i know how you feel.. i just crashed my r6 today...hit a patch of sand on a right turn and snapped off my handle bars oil was leaking out the crankcase and the bike was all scratched up just get it fixed and learn from it. like they say its not if you go down, its when you go down

@trueoptimist, frame sliders r meant to minimize damage to bikes from a stationary fall. won't really help if you have an accident becasue the angle of the fall is usually different.
