  • Wow. I can't believe what I started. Well, truth is I don't have lots of money & buying a movie I had never seen before would've been out of the question at the time. But, I'm glad I didn't buy this because I thought it was boring. I also only own 1 silent film in my entire library: "Metropolis". (1927)

  • i love the title cards i always read them in diferent voices lol

  • i like the first five minutes of the view of NYC 1928, but the love story is so BORING. Lady has a great hair-do though!

  • Thanks for the upload. Been looking for it for over a year.

  • @theachtungtree Perhaps because it's not for sale anywhere. Or at least until about a week ago. It literally was out of production. This is something I barely found myself and I wouldn't expect anybody else to have been able to at all.

You're not very smart, are you? But I digress, at least you had the decency to delete your douchebag comment yourself not long after you posted it.

  • @IndianaDylan yeah...you're right BUT i ordered one copy via amazon and got it....is not THAT limited

  • @IndianaDylan i also had a vhs copy long ago....you should research a little bit more pal

  • @theachtungtree i searched for just as long as this dude. it aint that common. the fact that you were lucky enough to find a copy online just means god is a dick who rewards assholes. do we really need to continue this?

  • @IndianaDylan no...god rewards the ones who research a little bit more. It is common, it's von sternberg you dipshit and right now you can order the "3 silent classics by josef von sternberg" box set on amazon, there are plenty copies left, btw what is it with all that negative feedback on your channel? you must be something

  • @theachtungtree I already mentioned that DVD release, and stated it came out AFTER mr detroitfan posted his comment. It was just released a few weeks ago, before that it really WAS a rare film; not everyone is as lucky as you, asshole.

And you're right, I am something. That something is better than a weak little e-bitch like you.

  • @IndianaDylan yeah...you're 11

  • @theachtungtree yep. i'm an eleven year old who watches 1920s silent films and is into "freeform jazz"

sorry buddy, no 11 year old is that lame.

  • @IndianaDylan my 12 year old cousin likes "pandora's box" but that has nothing to do with his childsih "freakin' WIN!" immature lines...the way he bitches when he can't hold a normal conversation and thinks he's "losing" whenever my uncle is trying to make an advice....i gave you the "you're right",almost an apology, then i made a point that stemberg is not such of a rare thing so you can search more easily than other"obscure"things and what i recieved was a bitchy"i freakin win"line, great job

  • @theachtungtree Okay number 1, show me where you "apologized." And thanks man, I try.

    You're okay. : )

  • @IndianaDylan hehe...no wait...you're 6 right now, now you barely read...i quote myself: "ALMOST AN APOLOGY"...when i said "i gave you the "you're right",almost an apology",like a thmb up, like if i agree...got it? like "ok...agree"

  • @IndianaDylan it's ok...

  • @theachtungtree Oh and by the way, I freakin' WIN! : )

  • @IndianaDylan " I freakin' WIN!"? what is this? kindergarden? it's not a competition...it's a fact and a recommendation....you must be 11 or something
