The sound of the rotors, I love it. Something about a chopper with an odd number of blades, doesn't have the choppiness of, say, a Bell Jet Ranger or a UH-1 Huey.
I caught a ride once in an EC120 and it was alot like riding in a Mercedes that flys.Very comfortable and supprisingly low vibration for a small bird.Very comfortable and the seats fit like a glove.The Eurocopters are just plain newer and more advanced IMO.
They are good birds,dont get me wrong...but they realy arent anything new or special.With the level of technology thats available today you would think they would come of with a newer and more up to date design.Sorta like the auto manufacturers.The MD 500 series is a favorite of mine as well though.
i do see your point- those helicopters, compared to something like the ec155 and ec135, dont stand a chance haha - by the way the ec155 is another one of my favorites.

Well, right, I agree, Eurocopters are good ones. But Bell 429 is a new nice chopper also

those Eurocopters are seriously sexy.Too bad all the American helicopters are just rehashed old helos from the 60's and 70's.
