I think this is the version that Luis Miguel did years ago in the 80's As for Mocedades, they are tops with their arrangement. But Luis Miguel and Mocedades have something in common and that's Juan Carlos Calderon behind the production.

The singer of this version is Luis Miguel; he is a very popular Latin artist. He has quite the collection of great songs, regardless if you understand the language. I was doing Yahoo's crossword puzzle today where one of the answer was eres tu. Sweet memories from the early 70s immediately flooded over me. I logged onto to Youtube and found this song. I saw Brokeback Mountain but did not recall it being in the movie. Anyway, I love the combination of this song and scenes from the movie. Fantastic video! Bravo.

I am not gay, but many of my friends are. What a lovely way of saying that- fighting can never be tolerated really, gay or not. Very powerful song, love the music, love the Spanish and the translation, and love the movie. So sad that Heath Ledger didn't make it in the world. So sad.

I don't think that wisdom is always accompanied by age, I was 10 and knew that fighting was wrong, and discrimination too.
