I'm going to phone the Daily Mail in the morning and ask that they petition to ban musicals and vegetarianism because Hitler enjoyed the former and was the latter.
They can have my copy of MW3 and BF3 when they pry it from my cold dead hands.
the taxpayer foots the bill- YET AGAIN! I abhore the BNP but I, for one, am sick and tired of these so called "Asylum seekers" queueing up for hand outs. But I suppose because I was born here I can't say that.
If Hitler read a paper it would certainly be the daily mail. Nasty, racist, biggoted. And just in case that wasn't enough it used to support the British Nazi party in the 1930s. Fact, you can look it up.

@32wallace No Hitler was on the "third position", he was anti-capitalist and anti-communist.
If you had to put National socialism on the inaccurate political spectrum it would be more left wing e.g.. Massive spending on the public sector, anti-capitalism, anti-upper class.
Don't really fancy an on-line debate. But I don't think you can claim a political stance by looking purely at economic actions, also his economic stance was more capitalist and right wing, just not necessarily in a traditional way.
Yeah probably not going to read your reply (which i'm sure will be riveting) simply because I can't be bothered.
I'll say again: " But I don't think you can claim a political stance by looking purely at economic actions, also his economic stance was more capitalist and right wing, just not necessarily in a traditional way."
@MrGilles1990 Incorrect, he simply used the money making Jews thing as an axe to grind (he also paradoxicly blamed them for Communism). Despite his whinning he went out of his way to pal up to the upper classes.
@MrGilles1990 I disagree being the driving force behind the ideology and party for the entire of it's formative years pretty much means national socialism (or more accuratly Nazism) is pretty much defined by his views.
@MrGilles1990 You could make an arguement that Anti-semitism is very 'traditional' but you are correct, on the other hand an agressively imperialist goverment in support of the capitalism and 'traditional values' is.
@MrGilles1990 Actually I was going for the premise that Nazism is corporatism. as opposed to Capitalism, but since brought it up, back that one up as well.
I despise the right-wing media peddling hatred, intolerance & division - it was about time they were satirized, and this was the best damn satire I've watched of conservatism in an age! :)
Hitler finds the Daily Mail a bit right wing. Although, he likes Mel Phillips.

@32wallace Well Hitler was Anti-capitalist( he hated the upper class and the money making Jews)
You cannot claim he was left wing or right wing, he was on what we call the "third position"

@angrydead Hitler i argue was an opportunist with one principle and that principle was to create a third Reich.
MrGilles1990 11 months ago
@MrGilles1990 I disagree if he was purely an opportunist with Imperial ambitions his rule would have been very differant, for example no Holocaust.

@angrydead Anti-Semitism is not left wing or right wing.

@MrGilles1990 You could make an arguement that Anti-semitism is very 'traditional' but you are correct, on the other hand an agressively imperialist goverment in support of the capitalism and 'traditional values' is.
angrydead 11 months ago
@angrydead But National socialism and the third position are anti-capitalist.
MrGilles1990 11 months ago
@MrGilles1990 No we've ran through this....National socialims isnt anti-capitalist as I've already shown.
angrydead 11 months ago
@angrydead But it is.
MrGilles1990 11 months ago
@MrGilles1990 No it isnt and unless you have an arguement to back it up you don't really have a leg to stand on.
angrydead 11 months ago
@angrydead look national socialism and the third position then you will see how "pro capitalist they are".
MrGilles1990 11 months ago
@MrGilles1990 Look at their economic policy and how they engage with buisness and then you will see how "pro capitalist they are".
angrydead 11 months ago
@angrydead Capitalism is different to corporatism.

@MrGilles1990 justify your premise.

angrydead 11 months ago
@angrydead "Fascism should more properly be called corporatism because it is the merger of state and corporate power." -- Benito Mussolini
MrGilles1990 11 months ago
@MrGilles1990 Examples of himbacking up his statements or a train of logic would be nice. quotes from dictators mean very little as a rule of thumb.
angrydead 11 months ago
@angrydead Corporatism is the merger between state and corporate power.
Capitalism is the separation of state and Corporate power.
MrGilles1990 11 months ago
@MrGilles1990 hardly, Corporatism can and does occur in free market economy's to the point where it can be argued it's the natural conclusion.
angrydead 11 months ago
@angrydead That is not Corporatism luck it up.
