  • I think George Orwell put it best: "If you want a vision of the future, imagine a boot stamping on a human face - forever"

  • America and other countries, including the UK invaded Iraq (and killed tens of thousands of people) to steal oil. There needs to be a total change of attitude and consciousness backed up by law. Huge corporations and capital interest can no longer be allowed to carry out such massive destruction – fascistic destruction motivated by extreme greed. It is the people of countries across the world who bailed out the bankers.

  • The United States is not a democracy!

  • I'm heading for Washington in a couple of hours. My tent and sleeping bag are in the car. Who in hell do these people think they are? We have the constitutional right to make citizens' arrests of everyone from these fascist thugs to Bush, Cheney and Obama. Authorities who don't back us up are treasonous scum.

  • Different people from different backgrounds meeting face to face and discussing one simple question, what the fuck do we want?

  • Your not realizing one great aspect of occupy wallstreet

  • Americans have been CLAIMING to be a democracy for a LONG TIME. What they are is a people who cling to some beautiful foundational democratic ideas that have rarely actually been enforced in America. The hubris of American's who actually believe they are free is revolting, but the hope that the leftist activists have that they can someday be free is laudable.

  • I've been searching for solid updates on the "Occupy Wall Street" non-story story. It seems there is no news informing people with good information. I'm thanful to catch thse videos daily. I hope to join everyone in NY, but as of now I'm stuck in Florida. It is very important that the world is aware of what is happening day today in America and in the entire world.

I want to thank you for all the great coverage, we the people are very much in need of outlets like this. THANK YOU...

  • Let's hope the next step isn't out of the US-backed "friendly" dictatorships' playbook:

blatantly assassinating any journalists who aren't pro-government.

  • The monetary settlement should come directly from the personal bank accounts of the individuals responsible and not from the tax payers.

  • There is no such thing as democracy its a folklore tale, we are given what governments wish us to believe is democracy as long as the system suits who ever is in power, i hate the greedy dirty high society that now rules, may they all burn in hell.

  • this applies to everyone not just the press. Everyone has rights not just the press.

  • America land of the oppressed,,,,,, god save americe

  • i liked it until this guy that says he grew up in egypt. that kind of killed it for me. why doesn't he have an accent if he grew up there?

  • These kind of outrages happen on a regular basis. Many law enforcement officers despise dissent and dissenters. Read "Protectors of Privilege" by Frank Donner.

  • boskinator is flagging legitimate comments as spam. This little fascist has appointed himself the unofficial censor of comments on this video. What a sick sick individual. Just look at his comment. He's happy that Amy Goodman was 'manhandled.'

The first words on his channel profile? "I love a good debate. Bring it, please." Well folks, let him have it!

  • @pfreddyp

    Hey wussbag,

Why don't you address your threats to me DIRECTLY? Oh yeah, I forgot - you're a gutless commie.

As far as your charge that I'm flagging comments as spam goes...LOL. Get a life.

  • Police activity during protests is making America look more and more like a dictatorship. It is obvious that Democracy is disappearing in the US, the dictatorship of the rich and powerful is what dominates. I feel sorry for the american people.

  • @boskinator - correction- what a Hitleresque, putrid piece of shit your mind is.

  • @fndngnvrlnd

ZOMG - a leftist called me Nazi! Stop the presses.

    Now go wank to Chomsky.

  • @boskinator - and YOU can go wank to your monsterself in the mirror. because that's what you are.

  • @fndngnvrlnd

    pt 2/2

No, I have the COURAGE to eschew political correctness. You are a limp-wristed moral relativist, as are all fans of the far-left Democracy Now!

I see you live in India - are you Hindu, Muslim or Christian? Just curious.

  • seriously- if you never woke up again tomorrow- the world would be a healthier place.

  • @fndngnvrlnd

is that a death threat? I see you've learned well from your Islamist masters, you apologist commie gimp.

    Seriously.

Now run along - there should be a flashmob you could join nearby.

  • wow! right on! it's getting better all the time thanks to forces like amy goodman and democracy now!

  • i own a handful of excellent G20 domain names is any activists want to use/have them.

  • thank you for using your position to have a voice or so many who need one right now. I am sorry this happened to you, but so pleased that it did. thank you for being strong.

  • And who will ultimately pay that "settlement" (rendition/giving up)??

    we, the people.

The right thing to do would've been to prosecute those criminal cops to the end and to put them in jail.

They are used to commit crimes and NEVER pay for them....

Who pays?..well i said so already.....

  • @rolovolo Well, I'm not sure how it works, but if the cops would be prosecuted, then who would ultimately pay the bill? Not the people? Isn't that the paying party would be the same but the bill would be much higher?

  • @Malgorzata64

mmmmmh....not really, since those cops would be killed in jail

    within the first few weeks....

  • @rolovolo is that what you think should happen? would that be right? would that be just? If I would be in Amy's place and had suspicion that that's what would happen I would never pursue the path. I can't believe she would either.

  • @Malgorzata64

Is not about what I think or wish,

It is about those cops own conscious choices

and the responsibility everyone has to take

    for our own actions.

If something happens to those cops as a result of

their choices, so be it, that would be their own personal

    learning experience.....
