Different floor, wall hangings, etc. No way to tell, but more than likely the room only had a video camera, at least one photographer, and possibly a few reporters. If the kiddies were present they must have been standing up against the back wall.

The first portion of the video is him coming into the classroom, the second portion is him talking. You cannot see the kids because the camera is zoomed in on Obama, not the kids. Stop playing dumb.

You can see one holding a camera with a wide angle lens and another with graying hair. It should be obvious that they aren't the 8th graders from the previous shot. That does not support your statement whatsoever. In the shot of him speaking, you see two heads: The cameramen and that of another man. Whether or not there are kids in the second shot is unknown, because it is zoomed too far to see any more than two heads (3 if you wish to be politically correct).

this video is a bit of a fake. I don´t think he used the prompter to talk to these kids. It´s a complete different scene and room when the prompters appear. at around 30 seconds Obama is about to sit down on a chair and the video is fading out. the next scene is somewhere else. you can see it in the background. It was then more of a speech than a talk to the kids as earlier in the video. I agree he´s overdoing it with those prompters, generally!
