I love interpol as a recording band but this, like many tv performances, is truly terrible. The whole minimal thing they do at the start sound empty but not empty cool just empty bad.

If they are having an amp problem or pedal problem fair enough. If the TV studio mix is rubbish again fair enough but a lot of their live performances seem to be weak. Dont forget they are a professional touring band who must play together for at least 6 hours a day. It just sounds terrible to me.
