If we like what Activision and/or the makers of COD have, and promise to contribute to the gaming industry whether these promises are made explicitly or we as consumers familiar with the franchize assume or predict will materialize in the form of games or services, we want them and all producers in the industry to chase those "obscene profits." Otherwise, all costs considered, why develop games or offer a particular service in the first place?

And that's just to attain it. I wonder what it costs to implement and ultimately purvey such technology to the end user, us. @libismendis Of course new technology is expensive, but it also becomes extremely cheaper (i.e. the PS3 itself) after a while.
And the entire point is it's NOT NEW TECHNOLOGY. Nothing new is being used. It's the same thing slapped with a different skin and label and they charge you $60 every single year for it.
